Inspiration for a modern home design remodel in Los Angeles

Custom patchwork cowhide rug made in natural hides, especially for Jeannie. She came with an idea and sketch for a custom rug for her vacation home in Aspen, CO. Once the final design was decided, we selected may hides that would look very similar between one another and cut every patch by hand. This is the result of a very custom, handcrafted, special job! :)

The beautiful new Avorio glossy enamel was inspired by the original wood-burning stoves that Antonio and Napoleone Bertazzoni built in the 1930s. The enameling process creates a very durable finish and makes cooking surfaces easy-to-clean.

Ceramic sconce, Naaya Petals with organic flower shape that uses the property of clay to be molded like never before! The unique patter on the wall from this design will add it presence even in a huge room or hall. With base cleverly shaped in round form to match the standard 5" wall canopy, fitting of these organic lamps will be breeze over standard 4" junction box and never look out of place, because the design takes care of all ! All the lamps come with e27 metal holder in antique brass finish and adjustable from 0 to 90 degree using swivel joint. 5 inch wall plate will cover your standard wall socket with ease. Please note that all color finish are cold finish and are done on natural/ white bisque. Shade dimension: 8 inch diameter X 4 inch height. Supplied accessories: All Light electrical Fixtures are in compliance with US/UK/AUS/ European Standard. Lamp comes with E27 holder (bulbs not supplied)

We built our house 22 years ago. I have been a custom window treatment professional for 16 years. I have fabricated lots of draperies, valance and Roman shades, and, rather considered pillows to be an afterthought. Not anymore! after two decades of kids, dogs and elderly parents our decor was looking a little shabby. We are slowly updated and have started with our family room, which needed new furniture. We purchased vintage pieces ad a Goodwill Super Store and then, with the help of my friend, Lynda Reid, of Lynda Reid Designs, chose fabrics from which I made piilows. Most of the fabrics are Vervain and I just love them/
