There are renovations, and then there are transformations, which our team and architects produced with this 100-year-old stone home in Wynnewood, Pa. The project included complete renovations to the two main living floors, and renovations to the third floor as well. Augmenting the custom trim details, custom cabinetry throughout, new kitchen, bathrooms and floors, is a completely new electrical system, plumbing system and HVAC systems. This will ensure that the home retains its charm, inside and out, for its next 100 years.

This custom steam shower satisfied every requirement that had accumulated after years of making do with the cramped old 5'x7' tub/shower combo.

This bright and cheery kitchen is now the central hub for a busy family. Sightlines have been opened up, pops of fun color, and beautiful zellige tile bring such personality to this 100 year old home!

The front stone section of the house was built using stone that was taken out of the house during construction in order to perfectly match the existing 300 year old stone farmhouse.

It was a challenge selecting tile flooring to match 18 year old travertine tile that was on the shower surround that was still in great shape. We found an excellent match in a porcelain tile. A hand knotted rug makes the room comforable and beautiful.

We needed to replace the original, 30-year-old cedar fence that was falling down in several places. My husband came up with the idea of installing electric lanterns on top of stone columns. We have a wonderful mason who has done other work for us so that was easy. We used the same electricians who had done the lighting in our kitchen--they were able to make our dream a reality. It came out even more beautifully than we had imagined!
