The soffits were removed. Then, we put in drywall, texture, and paint. These rustic maple cabinets have raised panel doors, lazy susan, pullouts, angled glass door cabinet, and a lightbox above sink. We made a built in bookcase on the end of the peninsula, corbels for the overhang on the countertop, and removed popcorn from the ceilings. Then we also textured and painted the ceilings in most of the house and remodeled the back of the house.
