This client wanted the foyer and living room to feel light— bright and welcoming when their guests stepped into their home. The previous color palette was dark and didn’t show off the features of their lovely home. Our clients added built in cabinetry on the sides of the fireplace, beautiful paneled millwork above the fireplace, and added interest to the foyer with grid patterned millwork. All of this pretty millwork was painted a fresh, bright white, and immediately made their home feel brighter and elevated the quality of the architecture. We brought in furnishings that are both functional and very comfortable. The color palette is soft and the main pieces are neutral with textural interest. This creates timeless design and allows for accent colors and current trends to be changed out occasionally through pillows, throws and accessories. We love how light-filled, welcoming and beautiful this home is now!
