We started buying some beautiful lampshades from Nushka, then cushions and soon Andrew was moving round old furniture, buying occasional pieces, and organising curtains, rugs and upholstery. He has a wonderful eye for colour and detail and an instinctive understanding of space but is very unassuming, is extremely efficient but gentle and provides you with myriad alternatives and suggestions. We have an old Devon house that hadn’t changed much for a century with a lot of children and animals. He has made it all really fun to live in and everyone loves it when he comes down.

Andrew has been instrumental in the way our house has been designed. We bought a derelict eighteenth century listed house which is now restored. The design is in tune with the age of the house and brings a contemporary approach in alongside. Through the redevelopment and many issues to solve, Andrew often came up with the solution. He has a fantastic eye and if he does not have the answer he knows someone who does. He advises on where spending more will make a difference but equally where to spend less to keep budget under control. He has found us great value and great savings. He worked sympathetically with us, the architect and the builder. He has a wonderful approach to working all together - listening, understanding, taking us into areas we would never have considered. He responds quickly. He knows instinctively what will work across multiple spaces. We would recommend Andrew to everyone.

Andrew is a pleasure to operate with and we've been lucky to work together on some amazing and prestigious projects over the last few years. Andrew brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and great project management skill. Working with Andrew is a very enjoyable experience but has also allowed us to create some of our finest work in sometimes the most challenging of time frames.

If there were more stars than I would have ticked them as well as we cannot rate Andrew Damonte highly enough. He worked on our home here in Ibiza for 3 years and it was wonderful to work with him. He was fun, creative, easy-going, sensitive to our own design wishes yet able to remain authentic to the traditional Ibicencan architecture and made what was a minefield really pleasurable. Above anything else he is a hugely talented, dedicated, down to earth, and unpretentious designer (despite his impressive client list) with impeccable taste and the most hard working man in his field that I have come across. When members of our team let us down, Andy stepped in and put on his Architect or his project manager hat to make sure that we did not fall behind schedule or above our budget. His efforts created a home that we not only fell in love with the moment we walked in, but a deep feeling of home that has remained ever since. And it was this feeling that resonated with us during these unusual times of Covid 19, when like most countries we were in lockdown and confined to our homes and made me pick up the phone to thank Andy once again for the magic that his flare and style surrounded us with. It is a testament to his diverse talents that not only have Architects and interior professionals in Ibiza commented "This is the most beautiful house I have ever seen in Ibiza" but our home has been chosen to be featured in an upcoming book of important architectural homes in Ibiza.

I’ve known Andrew for many years and I’ve always found him thoroughly professional, thoughtful and efficient. I have supplied him with antique carpets and textiles for a number of his projects and the results of his hard work have always had a transformative effect.

I have a good size flat in Ladbroke Grove and needed lots of help after the builders had finished. Starting with bookcases followed by curtains, paint colours and finally upholstery. Nushka sell the most wonderful cushions which helped finish off the main room. I was very lucky to have their input and the bookcases and furniture are more than I could have asked for. Andrew was able to design and have the bookcases made by a wonderful carpenter; he also helped with sourcing many period furniture for my rooms. The best decision was to get help from experts and employ a company rather than muddle through and try to do it myself. It has paid dividends and I definitely saved time and money in the long run. I get lots of complimentary comments on the decoration of my rooms. I would highly recommend asking Nushka to help with any interior.

Andrew provided calm, steady support throughout every stage of our house renovation. He liaised with our architects in the early stages as well as providing his own technical drawings of specific areas to show layout in bathrooms, etc. He engaged with our builders and was friendly, courteous and professional, always giving them information as they needed it. They used his drawings of bookshelves, cupboards etc to do all the carpentry they needed to do. From dealing with first fix electrics to bathroom tiling to designing Aga hoods, Andrew’s input was invaluable. In the later stages of the project Andrew worked on the design element, advising me on wallpaper, fabrics, furniture and art, coming up with fabulous schemes for every room in the house. Andrew was a calm and reassuring presence, taking all the stress away from the project. Creatively he understand exactly what we wanted and needed. I would not hesitate to recommend him as an interior designer.

Andrew was recommended to help me find furniture for my house. Not only did he and the Nushka team find exactly what we needed but they ended up helping with the curtains, upholstery and cushions for the remaining rooms. The project ended up lasting 2 years and we would recommend Nushka to anyone needing someone with great taste and expertise to help decorate their house.
