As anyone who has undergone any size of remodel can attest, there are quickly an overwhelming number of decisions to make, whether it be choosing materials or choosing subcontractors. Many decisions compound and, as we complete a full remodel of our home, we’ve faced hundreds of such decision points.
Easily, one of the best decisions we made was to hire 365 Furniture Assembly for our kitchen install. Wow, did they do an amazing job! (Picture attached)
By the time we called 365 Furniture Assembly, we had spent many months tearing down walls, building new walls, visiting showrooms, creating our own design plans, researching and sourcing the materials necessary to bring our vision to life. Prior to creating our own design documents, it was a long and bumpy road of both of our asking “why?” and being told “no” without reason to designs that were indeed possible by veteran kitchen planners who made us question why one would ever hire a kitchen designer. We also had dealt with a whole host of other subcontractor woes.
After considering our options, it was with bated breath that we decided on the semi-custom cabinet route. After deciding on Semihandmade, we scoured the Internet for Bay Area installers and their portfolios. It doesn’t take long reading reviews, looking at their portfolio and asking about their client list to immediately have confidence in the quality of 365 Furniture Assembly’s work. It’s as good as you think; which felt impossible to us at that point in the process.
Needless to say, by the time our install date arrived, we were anxious, under-slept, and had spent thousands of dollars on cabinetry we crossed our fingers would not only work, but look at great as we hoped it might. But, it was clear from the moment Oscar, Cindy and the 365 team arrived that having them execute our design was a great decision. Even prior to our install day, they went out of their way to ask us thoughtful questions and to answer all of ours. Given that both Cindy and Oscar actively work on each job, it’s magical that their replies are so quick and so personal.
During this many month remodel, we have had literally dozens of subcontractors come through our apartment to bid and to do work. Oscar, Cindy and the 365 Furniture Assembly team are standouts. They so clearly take pride in their work and go out of their way to take extreme care of your home as they move themselves, tools and ladders around. During a multi day install, the level of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and thoughtfulness they brought to our project has been unparalleled. You really are doing yourself a favor picking up the phone and calling them.
They are not just professionals, but artisans of their craft. No cut is too small for Oscar, no question too silly for them to answer, no request they don’t go out of their way to meet.
When they take you on as a client, they take on your project with the level of care as if it were their own. The end result is stunning. We still pinch ourselves when we look at our kitchen.
