I recently had the misfortune of hiring 800 Remodeling for a roofing and A/C installation, and I strongly advise against using their services. Here are the issues we faced: 1. Unacceptable Delays: The project dragged on for months, far beyond the initial timeline. 2. Unethical Practices: The first set of workers (6-7) weren't paid and left mid-job, stealing materials to make up for their docked pay. This caused major problems when the new crew arrived without the necessary materials. 3. Poor Communication: The communication between the remodeling company and subcontractors (crane operators, A/C technicians, etc.) was terrible. Additionally, the company's communication with us was nearly nonexistent. Every day was a surprise as to who would show up and what job they would do. 4. Damaged Property: They destroyed our gutters and reattached them poorly, causing leaks. When we raised this issue, their response was dismissive and rude instead of providing a solution. 5. Payment Pressure: They were pushy about getting paid before the work was satisfactorily completed and Elad/Fabio (he uses a name that isn't foreign sounding) used aggressive sales tactics until we told them to back off. 6. Lack of Accountability: Make sure to get everything in writing with this company. They will cut corners wherever they can. We had to watch the workers closely to ensure they didn't half-ass the job. 7. Poor Planning: The order of operations was backward, resulting in the new roof being damaged during the A/C installation. This showed a lack of basic common sense. 8. Unannounced Visits: David would drop by unannounced and get on the roof without informing us, which was both unprofessional and unsafe. 9. Subpar A/C Unit: The A/C unit promised to be "top of the line" and energy star certified was neither. Many others have reported issues with this unit. If we could do it again, we would not choose this company. The myriad of issues we faced reflect poorly on their business practices and professionalism. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your roofing, A/C, or construction needs.

Maybe If I had not been too busy flexing and spending time with my family in our new home, I might have written a spectacular review here sooner. 800 Remodeling does just what you expect to form a top contractor in Los Angeles that cares about its reputation. They went above and beyond to create the home of my dreams.

I highly recommend Allen and his team. Given the level of diligence, expert-level craftsmanship, and service, the pricing was very reasonable and valuable, to say the least. They were on top of the project the whole time and never let anything fall out of place. Digging the new bathrooms.

800 Remodeling is a great remodeling and construction company with some fantastic contractors, and engineers, excellent customer service, and top-notch craftsmanship. Can’t say enough about people like Allen and David, they make such a remodeling project worthwhile.

We finally decided it was time to give the backyard a new look as a couple. We met and discussed with Fabio a couple of times before signing a contract with 800 Remodeling. He took our desires to heart and knew exactly what he was doing. We renovated the pool, added a fire pit, and constructed a new play area and a shed. We both love the new look and look forward to working with 800 Remodeling again.

It took some time for me to agree to a complete remodel of our home but I must say, looking at the transformation now at the given price I don’t know why I was hesitant at first. It changed everything. We all feel more comfortable, more relaxed, and are certainly having fun with every new facility especially the newly added BBQ. My spouse planned everything out as an architect too so that made the changes more personal because she brought a lot of personality to the entire picture. 800 remodeling deserves more praise and of course my beautiful wife.

And after months of hard work from the entire crew. I can happily say I am satisfied. My family loves the changes too and are overjoyed with the new look and functionality. Great work!
