For the past two decades, Acculevel serves Indiana, Michiana, and Kentucky, with integrity, professionalism, and quality. We don’t view our work as simply fixing foundations or waterproofing basements–we serve real people like you. We understand you have plenty of other stresses in life, and worrying about the reliability of your waterproofing or foundation contractor shouldn’t be one of them.
That’s why we offer estimates that are always free of charge and free of pressure. If you don’t have a problem, we won’t quote a fix–it’s as simple as that. Our consultants are professional and courteous; our crews will treat your home with respect; and our office staff will work to set up appointments at your convenience.

Accu Level overpromised and underperformed. We reached out to have a simple job performed as part of selling our house. From the start, we were told the work could be performed prior to closing. Due to timing and this promise, we did not get any other bids. Upon receiving the contract, we paid the deposit within one hour. From this point on, there was no communication from the business that was not initiated by us. We texted our rep and called the office every day from this point on to see when the work would be scheduled. There was no proactive communication whatsoever. Finally, one day before closing, our real estate agent demand a date to be scheduled and it was scheduled two weeks after closing. Thankfully, we had a flexible buyer who was willing to close without the work being done. On the day the work was supposed to be scheduled, with no notice, it was postponed for another week and the buyer had to find a time to reschedule. This had to be communicated to me by my realtor and not the business. After the work was done, I reached out to our rep to explain how disappointed we were with the customer service. This was verbatim his response: "Please understand this is not our normal scenario and there were people let go/had responsibilities changed because of it." I asked to speak to his manager. Upon speaking with the manager, he said they weren't willing to do anything to make amends for the lack of customer service even with his rep openly admitting that they did not meet their promises. The manager quoted back terms of the contract to me that they are allowed to reschedule and I explained that this was not a contractual dispute, but a complaint about customer service when an employee openly admitted fault and he was not willing to take accountability for his employee. I asked to speak to his manager. This conversation happened two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for that call. Don't use this business if you want any level of customer service.

I called acculevel for an estimate on some foundation work needed on my basement cinder block walls. Jarell was the tech assigned to visit my home.. Jarell was very prompt to get in touch and schedule a time to visit my home in Urbana. I showed Jarell the damage to a few cinder blocks on my north wall from the outside first.. On the inside, Jarell immediately noticed that I have had significant foundation work to my basement walls (vertical wall supports secured via helical screws on a total of 15 wall supports) He asked about the installation of the existing supports. I shared the details of that work done in 2003 by another foundation repair company. I also shared with Jarell the details of estimates given by two other companies contacted for repairs Jarell came to look at. One estimate was for $1600 to basically address cracks in the current walls . The other estimate was for over $10,000 in repairs that included install of helical piers to the floor in the opposite side of the basement from the area of immediate concern. (which was not at all addressed in the $10K estimate) Jarell was honest, straightforward in his assessment of my situation. He said had I not had the vertical supports w/ Helical screws installed, it was almost certain I would have THOUSANDS of DOLLARS in repairs needed. However, his suggestion was to contact a local masonry company to replace the damaged blocks and do a more complete tuckpoint job on the existing cracks in the walls. Jarell quickly noted that the vertical wall supports (installed in 2003) were doing what they were installed to do. While the helical piers could be beneficial Jarell did not think it was absolutely necessary at this time. I totally appreciated his expertise and honesty about my situation If you do need foundation work... I highly recommend Jarell come to look at your situation. He will give you a professional and honest appraisal of your situation. Soooo great to see a company with employees who bring professionalism, integrity and honesty to their work.. NOT just get you to spend money.

We are devastated 100% and will never recommend this company. Our house has been torn up as we've been living in our kitchen downstairs as our living room has been torn out as they were fixing the middle center beam wall and ran into complications with air ducts. The they halted the project to try to figure out what they could do next on March 29th. It became extreme lack of communication and no responses after we had were no showed two weeks in a row by their manager who is coming to tell us the next step of what they thought we could do. As we left messages on that Monday after the supposed manager no showed us two Saturdays in a row they never called back until we called again and again then it constantly became ghosting from their end. I called two weeks ago,,No one ever called us back. my husband text the manager on Monday and I called this morning and talked to a woman as she submitted all this. I feel like we have been more than patient as we have been living since the end of March with no living room and living in our bedrooms upstairs and only in our kitchen. They are supposedly a family, caring and ran business and obviously are none of these. We are mind blown and left hanging as they did not respond when I called this morning and submitted all of these details but to only send an email this evening saying they cannot do this project anymore as we just mailed in a check to start this part of the project again as we've already paid a huge amount for the other part, they are extremely unprofessional, negligence to the extreme. I cannot even believe this and we have no clue what to do next as our house is torn up and they ditched us! We never fathomed to be in the stance after spending a very big amount of money at the start of this. Now we are left just hanging and they could not even have the decency to respond to the text messages and phone calls and now to send an email and not even call and explain things extremely,, unprofessional, uncalled for and we are now feeling lost after 3 months of waiting. I cannot even believe looking at their website for what they say, and how they truly do business,, there is definitely no guarantee and they do not care at all obviously.

I hesitate to write this review, since our sales rep has been diligently working to resolve this issue (but unfortunately, to no avail). We contracted with Acculevel to install an egress window in our basement to convert a room into a proper, legal bedroom so our daughter could safely move downstairs. The window was set to be installed 5/7; the crew promptly showed up and began excavation outside while one of their crew members started demo inside. We then discovered that the lintel that Acculevel had coordinated with the stone mason to install was too small to support the dimensions of the window.
The crew escalated this issue internally and a few supervisor-types arrived. We discussed our options and agreed to install a different window (a taller, narrower casement window rather than the originally contracted-for sliding window). As long as the window was safe for egress and met the legal requirements for a bedroom without sacrificing space inside the already-small room, we were flexible!
The crew continued to excavate and install the window well the new window arrived and was installed. The window well, was not set high enough to clear the top of the new window. What we didn’t realize at the time (and no one bothered to communicate to us) was that since the new window opened outward with a crank and the window well didn’t clear the height of the window, the window well cover BLOCKED the window from even opening! We had an egress window that you can’t even open. We didn’t discover this until the next day and then we communicated this to Acculevel. At that point an Acculevel rep (not sure who) tried to tell us that they communicated to us during the install that they would order a new window that would crank open inward. This is untrue since we never would have agreed to a window that (1) reduces the available floor space of an already small room and (2) reduces the potential furniture layouts of the bedroom. We pressed Acculevel for alternate solutions and they advised that they could install a new, taller window well cover that would hit above the window. This would mean a more obtrusive window well cover from the exterior/street view, but at the end of the day it seemed the best solution. We asked them to move forward and were told they were.
Fast forward and after multiple contacts with our sales rep to see the status, we learned yesterday that they haven’t even yet identified a manufacturer for a taller window well cover. We feel no closer to having a usable basement bedroom than we were 5 weeks ago, despite playing musical bedrooms with our kids and their belongings! Our plans are on hold, and we have no idea when we will finally be able to safely move our daughter into her new room that she’s been patiently waiting for.
Five weeks is more than enough time to remedy this issue and yet, here we are – with an “egress window” we can’t even open.

This company sent out two different inspectors. Both missed major issues. The finished job is horrendous and want to charge me an extra $3000 to fix what they have admitted is wrong. $15,000 is the initial charge so it would be a grand total of $18,000. They are threatening to put a lien on my property. I've had a home inspector to come out and he is shocked at the lack of professionalism. Stay away.

Acculevel was my 2nd company I hired after initially being scammed. AL did a BETTER JOB than I expected on my foundation\crawl space access especially after the mess I was left with! From my 1st meeting with Greg to the actual project, I wish I could remember the names of the guys who did the work, ALL were professional, respectful, and concerned of my needs! Wow they didn't leave me with a mess nor did they damage my property!!! Unlike the 1st SCAMMERS I had to run OFF!! And price--amazingly lower than what I had imagined again I guess after what I had already dealt with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ACCULEVEL!!!
