I am very pleased with my updated bathroom! I love the wallpaper and the vanity most of all. We had an issue with the vanity top, but Adeline fixed it without any problems!

Our experience with Adeline Ray Design Studio was beyond our expectations. We had never used a designer to help with our remodeling. We remodeled our previous two houses and always just hired a contractor and came up with the design, bought the appliances, etc ourselves. The remodel of our current house was a bit more challenging with the layout of the kitchen. Also the house had a formal living and dining room which we don't use and did not have a clue what to do with either. That's where Adeline and her crew came in. They presented us with a very organized proposal complete with illustrations and associated costs. They aided in the purchase of appliances and other items associated with the remodel. They worked with us on the selection of the paint, flooring, and suggestions for each room. Their subcontractors worked extremely well together and were very considerate of us since we lived through the remodel. The subs did fantastic work. Invoicing through Houz was very convenient and organized. Everything turned out wonderful and we could not be happier with the result. We highly recommend ARD and her crew. Rick and Marta D.

Writing a long overdue review! Adeline helped us totally gut and remodel our outdated kitchen in 2023. She and her team were so helpful in all stages of the project. Her design tips were spot on. She thought of all the small details that I never would have considered in planning our new kitchen. Her team was fantastic during construction and stayed on schedule. They were always on time and cleaned up every day. Adeline addressed any and all concerns that we had both during and after the remodel. We’ve been living in our new kitchen for two years now and still love everything about it! It’s the heart of our home. So thankful for Adeline’s expertise in making our dream a reality.

I engaged this design studio to help with post-hurricane repairs/remodeling. Specifically, I had to completely replace all the flooring and baseboards in a 1700+ square foot condo in a high-rise building, and I was TOTALLY overwhelmed. Adeline and her design assistant, Jainnie, proved to be lifesavers! They helped me with every aspect of the project from design, flooring and paint selections to furniture replacement and arrangement and did so with great patience and. kindness. Their flooring contractor, paint company and drapery installer were superb. I received lots of personal attention and moral support even step of the way. Storm damage and the efforts necessary to restore my condo to "better than when we started" condition was a big job that I never could have accomplished without such a professional and caring firm, and I will continue to use them for future design needs. In short, they far exceeded my expectations, and I am a very grateful client.

We hired Adeline Ray Design to remodel out kitchen, bar area and living room. It was a significant project, that ultimately saw 5 rooms modified and included a full strip down and rebuild of the kitchen area (including re-routing all utilities), demo and rebuild of walls and even the addition of a new room to be the new walk in pantry. We approached several design studios for the project and ultimately decided to go with Adeline Ray because of their collaborative approach to working with us, and in particular, their design expertise made a real difference to the finished product both in looks and functionality. The project itself was on schedule (very important to us as we lived in the house during the remodel), and essentially on budget (any deviations were scope changes we decided as clients) which is impressive for a project this size. The contractors used were, without exception, very professional (arriving on time, cleaned up daily), and the quality of their work was very high. I would have no hesitation in using Adeline Ray Design Studio's for a remodel again.

Adeline and team listened to us, worked well within our budget and organized the various trades efficiently. Our project(s) were completed very timely because of their good relationships with their subcontractors and because they planned well. We discussed and reviewed options and Adeline brought back as many ideas as we needed. The team was responsive and fun to work with. We were much braver in our selections because of their design skills and good advice. We are thrilled with the outcome.

The remodel of our Jack and Jill bathroom was our second time working with Adeline and we couldn’t be happier! She brought our dated bathroom back to life. Having Adeline coordinate with all the contractors makes the process easy and greatly reduces the stress around remodeling. Would definitely use her team for future projects!

We utilized Adeline Ray Design Studio to design and update our small master bathroom. This was our first home renovation project and Adeline and her team walked us through the design and construction process and made us feel so comfortable and confident during the process. Her team designed and constructed a beautiful and more usable bathroom that we absolutely love. One of the best things about the construction process was the level of communication her team provided, even while we were out of town. We would love to work with Adeline and her team on any of our future projects.

We wanted someone to help guide us through some needed improvements to our dark bedroom, limited storage, and outdated hall bathroom. We contacted Adeline for her thoughts. Her solution was to re-allocate the affected spaces and move some access locations for both rooms. We gained a wall of windows, an amazing new hall bathroom, and 2 new closets! She also selected all of the surfaces in both rooms. Our bedroom is now a sanctuary with a comfortable & roomy sitting area that gives us peace. Adeline was also the General Contractor for our job, which helped to keep things moving once we selected the design and the surfaces and furnishings. Her main crew was one of the hardest working groups I've seen. Again, we can't say enough about the end result and Adeline's eye for space allocation. We're loving our new spaces :-)

Adeline and her whole team (contractors included) have been wonderful to work with! We just completed a kitchen refresh, replaced all the flooring in the house, painted the kitchen/breakfast area and updated our daughters bathroom. We love the results! I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted, but Adeline was able to guide me through the process and put together a cohesive style. In addition to her design skills, the project management process is very smooth. They answered all questions quickly and I was always kept informed of the process and what was going to happen each day. I am absolutely delighted with my home remodeling and decorating! I have done a number of projects in the past which always had glitches, unexpected expenses and problems, conflicts - you know the story, The remodel of my bathroom and the updating of several other rooms has produced amazing results - quickly, efficiently, with an absolute minimum of problems. Her subcontractors are professional and proficient and her team provides daily oversight and immediate problem solving. Additionally, Adeline and her entire team are fun! I have gained a beautiful and functional home with a group of creative professionals that gave me exactly what I wanted - a integration of antique and new, an elegant home to entertain adults, and sturdy enough for my grandchildren and dogs. Amazing.

Adeline Ray Design Studio overall was one of my favorite home improvement project vendors that I've ever had the opportunity to work with. They not only know what they're doing at an expert level from a selection and design perspective, but also (I think drastically undervalued in everyone's mind as they approach a home improvement project,) from a project management standpoint. Their Design - My wife makes the decisions. She knew what she wanted, but didn't know how to start. Adeline and her crew made this process both efficient and fun. They asked tons of questions to understand what we were going for & made recommendations they thought would be more functional/look better. There was never awkwardness in asking for something different because they care about you and your design project, not making it theirs. They brought items you could see, feel and touch and took great care in making the right selections and presenting them ahead of time. Their Work Quality - They hire the best sub contractors in the city. They like to work with them a lot. They share a level of trust and respect for each other which makes you feel good about them working together on your house and being in your house. Each of their contractors respected your home, your time and their work space as if it was their own home. They asked good questions and stayed in their own workspace. Each contractor also played well with any other contractor they were coming in contact with throughout the project. I think that allowed them to overlap some work and save you time. Their Service & Professionalism - You can't get a better score here. I have highly recommended them to at least 10 different families already and will continue to. They're friendly, diligent, precise, communicative, and have the utmost respect for you, your home, your budget and your project. I can't say this highly enough here, this part is unmatched. Look, a tile, is a tile, but when it comes down to how the project overall is designed, how it was ordered, how it was set up for delivery, how it goes in and how any issues were remedied, this TEAM is second to none. Their Project Management - They do this in completed stages and make sure everything is done with that stage before moving onto the next one. Which would seem to drag out time, when you could get started asap, and you just want to see things and progress...but in reality they do it for your benefit. They do it so you don't have a massive amount of delays, unused product or change orders. They don't place orders for product you don't need until your design is done. They don't schedule the work or start the work until all your product is in. This way you're not sitting there without cabinets for 2 months because they were already torn out but didn't come in yet. Because of all of this, they were ahead of time and within budget. Their team checks regularly on your progress and makes sure everything is going smoothly. They have this down to a science.

Adeline and her team created a cohesive plan for our kitchen remodel; presenting many ideas that I hadn't thought of; which after completion I absolutely love. Test of time; months later and I still love it. She reformatted my space in the best possible ways. They source materials before demo, which cuts down tremendously on the project construction timeline. Adeline is very easy to work with, very receptive, and immediately responsive when things come up during the project. She gave us a solid cost line item, with very little retuning during the build. When we are ready for our next project, we will be calling her.

I am extremely happy with the design and remodeling work that Adeline did for us. My husband and I knew we needed a vision for our home and Adeline provided that and more. We originally went in just to get new floors and to see what our house might look like in the future. Adeline came back with a design for our living room, dining room, and entryway and it was so great we decided to move forward on all of it. Correction.... my husband, who was adamant that we "just stick to the floors" made the decision to do all of Adeline's recommendations. That's how good it was. We ended up moving and refinishing the stairs, taking down columns between the living and dining room for a more open concept, converting a weird linen closet in the dining room to a dry bar, moving our bedroom door for more symmetry and privacy, adding built-ins to the living room, changing out the lighting in our entryway and living room, furnishing the living room and entry way, painting the living, dining, entryway and stairs, and styling the areas. My husband and I have no regrets about expanding the project and love everything that was done. We get compliments on everything Adeline did, and the exceptional quality of the work. It blends seamlessly with the parts of the house we didn't touch. One of the best things is that Adeline was not only the designer but she was the general contractor. This was a big deal for me since both my husband and I work full time and don't have the time or knowledge to do this well. She and her team coordinated all contractors (she clearly had good relationships with all of them), and I didn't have to worry about anything. They are excellent communicators in all things. And her desire and commitment to excellent work is clear. When something needed extra attention by the contractors she let them know and ensured that we were happy with the end product. Her contractors kept the work area clean, sectioned off, and were very professional. We are genuinely pleased with her work and will be using her for our kitchen and master bath remodel with the time comes.

Adeline and her team designed and created my teenage children’s bedrooms and transformed them into spacing fitting each of their unique personalities. They both have sanctuary’s in the home where they can escape, study and sleep.

I worked with Adeline and her team to remodel our powder room and couldn't be happier with the process and final result! Having just finished a nightmare of a project with another interior designer, I did a little more research this time and only pursued personal referrals. Aria was our main point-of-contact and replied to every question promptly and professionally. Our project budget and deadline were BOTH met, the design options provided were on point, and, even when we hit a couple of speed bumps (like having to move plumbing unexpectedly and a couple items being out of stock), Adeline said, "Don't worry - we'll take care of it..." and they really did (without going over budget)! This was, hands down, one of the best experiences I've had with a designer and I plan on using them again.

We really feel blessed to have found Adeline Ray Design Studio for the remodel of our home. Adeline immediately understood our priorities and the design concept that we wanted to achieve for our space. Adeline did an amazing job updating my dark and boring formal dining room. The wallpaper and paint she picked out turned our dining room into a beautiful and interesting room. She is very talented and fun to work with as well!

The entire downstairs of my home was flooded with 4 inches of water during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The shock, stress, and disruption to my household was overwhelming. Adeline and her team assisted with every step of my remodel/rebuild from the design plans to project management and scheduling of trades and finally the interior design/furnishing of the completed remodel. She was able to take an otherwise tragic event and turn it into the beautiful home I love to come home to everyday! In 2019, Adeline and her team also assisted with remodel of my kids bathroom upstairs. She was able to transform a small outdated bathroom into a spacious and trendy bathroom that my kids love! In addition, she replaced the carpet upstairs and all of the windows in my house. Adeline and her team were always professional and responsive to all of my questions from initial design through installation.

Adeline Ray just completed her second project for me. The first project was designing my law office. I didn't want a boring design, but being a law office, it had to look somewhat traditional. Adeline and her crew created a really nice look for the office that was very unique. A number of clients commented on how much they liked the look of the office. She came in on time and well within our budget. She also worked well with building management and my staff (which is not always easy). Adeline's studio also just completed some major repairs and updates to a house I am trying to flip. The house had not been updated in many years, and Adeline was able to update the house and add a lot of value to the project. Her construction crew was polite and respectful. Updating an old house is never easy, but she did a really nice job. Well done Adeline and crew.

We remolded our master bathroom & added a closet in our master bedroom. We would still be in the discussion phase had it not been for Adeline & her team. She & her crew are hands on & on top of every aspect. She made a dreadful decision an enjoyable experience, a painless experience. Priceless. Totally Love Our New Family Room! We hired Adeline Ray Design Studio to completely redo our family room and we could not be more please with our decision. She is an astute listener, and takes the time required to get to know her clients. Adeline and her team are extremely reliable, any concerns that I may have had during the process were always addressed in a timely manner. I was always given a wide variety of choices and never felt pressured to make a decision. Over passed 20 years I have used other design services that could not hold a candle to the level of professionalism and service we received by Adeline Ray Design studio. Wow! That is the word that comes to mind when I describe my bathroom. We hired Adeline to redesign our tiny 1960’s masterbathroom. She did a spectacular design and the construction process was incredibly well orchestrated. Not one problem! Adeline’s subs were respectful, professional, and clean. Adeline oversaw every aspect of the job on a daily basis. And she has a sharp eye for detail. The result is a bathroom that is somehow twice the original size and absolutely stunning! In addition, she replaced our driveway, sidewalk, and patio. Again, she handled the project in a timely manner that turned out better than imagined possible. We will hire Adeline for any additional projects without hesitation! Her staff, Kim and Andrew were alway a pleasure and compliment her work beautifully.

My wife and I were faced with getting a house painted in a short period of time to avoid another month renting. Adeline's crew was ready to do as much work as we wanted. We elected to paint walls, repair some rotted exterior wood and they did a great job. When things slowed Adeline was able to light a fire under her team to push it along. In addition to the quality work she assisted in getting carpet cleaning, housekeeping and was outstanding in making suggestions. Most people have a budget and Adeline assisted us in juggling that budget adding hardwoods in our master and hallway on the second floor and preserving carpet in the other bedrooms. Anyone outside of the construction under the gun for time that has waited for painters, carpenters or any trade with little leverage to get them to show up can avoid that nightmare with Adeline Ray Design Studio.

Maybe I don't understand the home interior industry.. But I have done multiple commercial space renovations for my own businesses. Before I hire an interior company I expect some sort of bidding pitch/presentation, either by presenting a rough rendering/mood board and/or rough budget estimates. Moreover, I do NOT expect to pay for their bidding pitch/presentation prepping time since they are investing their own time to earn my business. Adeline Ray wanted to have an on-site visit at my home. I expected this to be free since she is trying to earn my business. But, towards the end of her visit, she demanded $120.... Visit wasn't productive at all, since she did NOT produce/promise any rough renderings nor suggest any actionable items. I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth and keep asking "was this visit worth $120?". My big fat answer was "NO". Prior to the home visit, Adeline did not mention her visit is going to cost me $120. If she mentioned it, I would have steer clear from her from the get go... Perhaps this is her business model... Make one time $120 visit 3-4 times a day... If you have $120 to waste, please have her visit your home..

I combined my old furniture with my late mother's furniture when I moved into a new apartment. Adeline understood my personality and preferences and coordinated everything beautifully. She helped me select fabric to upholster old furniture and give it a classic but also a modern day look. She arranged my furniture to give my apartment a fluidity and coziness which has charmed all who have seen it. Her sense of color, style, and professionalism is unparalleled. Helen Solomos

The Adeline Ray Design Studio brings us some of the most creative and stylish projects we see. We love working with Adeline. She is very attentive to her clients and loves to pay attention to the details of the project. She is quick to help solve problems or resolve questions about the work we are doing for her.

We endeavored to redesign our 1960's bathroom to accommodate both a tub and shower as well as update the look. We wanted a spa retreat and with Adeline's help, that is exactly what we got. She was able to design a space plan that worked in both a tub and shower. Adeline's attention to the details like niches, fixtures, tile and paint created a beautiful custom design. We are so happy with the final result. Adeline was great to work with. She worked around our crazy schedule, was patient and flexible. She worked with our budget and timeline. This is a follow-up review for the (significant) additional work that Adeline performed for us after we were so happy with the initial project (guest bedroom suite, see photos in Adeline's portfolio). After that, we hired Adeline's team to assist us with our outdoor pool space, our living room, our powder room, our master bedroom, our master bathroom, and associated spaces. In most cases, it involved significant re-work/redesign of the space. In all cases, we were thrilled with the outcomes, most of which are shown here on Houzz on Adeline's profile. We would continue to recommend her to others!

3/10/16 addendum: Unfortunately I need to revise my review. I noticed a tiling error last fall, but after 6 months of waiting, Adeline still wasn't able to get her tile man to come back out and fix it. Ultimately I hired my own contractor to do the repair. So while I'm still quite happy with Adeline's design, I no longer recommend her because she didn't prove capable of controlling her own contractors and this was part of what I paid her for. For this reason I'm downgrading my review to "could have been better." =========================== I decided to hire a designer for my small bathroom remodel project because I have little faith in my own sense of design, am easily overwhelmed by the quantity of product choices, and don't enjoy attending to the myriad details that accompany a remodel project. I chose Adeline because she was down to earth and experienced. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Adeline quickly got a sense of my style and usually provided me with 3-5 product selections to choose from. I found something I loved in her initial selections nearly every time. She (and her excellent assistant Jami) also handled the bidding process, scheduling, shopping, and Adeline was on site several hours every day for the first 10 days of the project. It was fantastic and everything I'd hoped the process would be. I paid Adeline to handle everything that stresses me and she made it look as easy as breathing. It was such a pleasure to work with her and her team. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

It was my pleasure to be invited to photograph a recent project for Adeline Ray Design Studio, I found them to be professional and completely present with the client. What I was asked to photograph was a transformation of a bath in a home and the finished project was lovely, light and clean looking with beautiful tile and trim. The client was completely satisfied and happy which is always the ultimate sign of a good company.

Adeline was recommended to me by one of these reviewers, and I'm so glad we met. She has taken the terror out of decorating for me. She remodeled our closets, redirected my bedroom makeover where I was stuck, and turned a slab patio into an outdoor living room with a pergola. Her design ideas came with a hefty dose of psychology, were budget-friendly, fit our small home, and improved the utility of our house. Just last night, my husband dreamily stated that he loved the feeling when he walks into our bedroom - a feeling Adeline helped achieve. That's priceless. I look forward to more projects with her.

Adeline, is very patient with people like me who take awhile to make a decision on a particular design or a particular direction. She doesn't push you into a decision but gives you options. She tries hard to keep costs down . She re-did my powder room and it turned out really well.

Adeline Ray Design Studio helped us create a home that we always dreamed of and now when we walk in we smile. We have lived here 12 years and through her design and hard work have fallen in love with the house all over again. Adeline has a very collaborative style and listens to my ideas and combined with her attention to detail, working with her has been one of the very best decisions we have made. Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results.
