A&E Kitchen Designs will not disappoint! Doug is an amazing Kitchen Designer and all his staff are extremely talented & professional! I cannot express how happy we were to use A&E. They were on time and all such wonderful people to work with. I love my amazing kitchen and get many compliments.

I cannot recommend A&E highly enough. Doug and his team are friendly, reliable and professional. My kitchen reno fell at a particularly difficult time for my family. Doug and his team had my back! We met with Doug who was anxious to hear about what we wanted, he listened and then designed it exactly as we envisioned. A talented designer with so many great ideas, and a crew who knows how to execute the vision! I will be forever grateful!

Doug, owner of A & E Kitchen Design came very highly recommended to us. After contacting him, he presented us with a design incorporating everything I had asked for, and made some other good suggestions. Along the way, Doug answered all of my questions and concerns, and gave his knowledgeable opinion on items I had chosen, i.e., backsplash, countertop, coordinating colors. Once everything was in place and the work began, things moved along quickly and smoothly, and his team was superb. Doug was there on Day #1 and many days thereafter. Our beautiful kitchen is now much more efficient, and the new design created so much more useable space within the original square footage. We are so happy to have found A&E Kitchen Design, and couldn't be more pleased with the final result.

First of all, there was no reason at all for me to have been hesitant in hiring Doug, owner of A&E Kitchen Design. He and all of his subcontractors were so professional in every way. I never could have expected such a smooth and seamless experience, after all I had read about contractors in the Myrtle Beach. Bob Smedley was our favorite. He did the majority of the demolition work and left the kitchen as clean and orderly as one could expect after a demo. Not only did he do an impeccable job of installing our cabinets in a timely manner, but he was also kind and just such an all-around fabulous guy. He would always blow out the garage, driveway and even our parked cars after each day of cutting trim etc. in the front yard. Each morning he would arrive with treats for our rescue dog Lukas. Needless to say, Lukas was very fond of him as well! Jim, the electrician also became a friend of ours. Really nice guy and did so much work to make sure our lighting and outlets were exactly what we wanted He was always available to answer any questions we might have along the way and took the time to explain options available to us to best enhance our kitchen. Bill and Doug, the plumbers were here a few times; I never had so many laughs (not something you would expect during a plumbing reno). Again, they are just really great guys, with tons of knowledge and expertise. They did a lot of work for us, but they did so very efficiently. They worked really well as a team. Doug was in touch throughout the entire project and never once let us down. He stopped by often to make sure everything was going as planned and to answer any question about the subcontractors. Amazingly, he was NEVER unavailable to us. His nephew Austin would come by and pick up all the old cabinetry and materials that went with a full kitchen reno (LOTS of garbage and dump runs for him). He was always thoughtful enough to ask us if we had any personal stuff he wanted us to take, since he was hauling anyway. So thoughtful!!! He even took our appliances to the Habitat for Humanity store, which is out of his way, but he is a supporter of giving back to the community. The kitchen is perfect in every way. We ABSOLUTLEY love it!! Our backsplash and countertops are so different and so modern. I can't stop admiring all of Doug's hard work. There is not one bad thing I can honestly say in this review. Really. DO NOT HESITATE to hire A&E Kitchens. When we told Doug how amazed and pleased we were with his design and execution of the entire process, this is what he responded: It truly was a very good experience working on your project. My favorite thing about what I do is meeting a wide variety of people and fulfilling their specific needs. To your credit you became aware that you were in good hands and turned your concerns to confidence. That, I appreciate the most about my experience with you , Tom, and Lukas, not to mention the elusive cats. :) ALL GOOD!

We called A & E Kitchen Design to come to our home for a quote to do kitchen remodel. Very soon after Doug, the owner, arrived, we knew A & E Kitchen Design would be doing our kitchen remodel. Doug really is a true designer. He made suggestions that we never even thought about. We went from standard 42" cabinets to beautiful 66" custom cabinets. Doug reconfigured our kitchen, relocating the stove, so that we had more usable counterspace. He also doubled the size of our island, increasing storage space. Doug's Master Carpenter Bob appeared each morning at 8:30 sharp to work on the install and at the end of each day he cleaned the area before he went home. He did an amazing job installing our very tall cabinets. Evelyn the office manager, salesperson and overall wonderful person helped us choose the color of our island and our cabinet pulls. We wanted to share the amazing experience we had using Doug at A&E Kitchen Design. From start to finish Doug was amazing to work with -- he was the only one who understood the quirky space we were working with and how to best maximize that space. Doug and his team did a fabulous job on our total kitchen remodel. I had a design I really liked which he brought to life exactly how I wanted! Although our kitchen is small I am amazed how efficient and how much storage we have with the cabinet layout Doug suggested. Our remodel was a smooth, seamless process and we couldn’t be more excited with our results. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with our remodeled kitchen. From design, presentation, and construction, Doug was right on top of things. He listened to our wish list and suggested a few things we hadn’t thought about and didn’t suggest extras that would inflate the cost. His team of cabinet installers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and tilers were very competent and very professional. When minor and unexpected issues surfaced (as they always do), Doug was very attentive in getting them resolved. Great guy to work with who produces great results.

We found A & E Kitchen Design through Houzz after moving to a new area and doing an online search for kitchen designers/remodelers. The reviews for owner/designer Doug G. and his crew were very positive and the photos impressive, so we decided to go with them. I have to say they were all correct and we couldn’t have been more pleased with Doug’s design and vision for our kitchen. It truly surpassed our expectations and the craftsmen that Doug has worked with for years are outstanding! Polite, friendly, trustworthy and conscientious are just a few adjectives that describe them and they truly went over the top to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our new kitchen. Doug did a beautiful job executing, coordinating and timing everything while keeping within our budget and the schedule he gave us. If you are considering a remodel in your home, we would highly recommend A & E Kitchen. Doug and his crew are absolutely top notch professionals and a true delight to work with!
