My wife and I just finished the construction of our dream home with a pool and entertaining area here in Chico with Brian and his team at Airehart Construction. We have been partnering with Airehart Construction for about 8 years doing their custom painting. Having a custom house built is a daunting endeavor. Now that our house is finished, we could not be more thankful that Airehart was our builder. Our project was complicated, our plans were not the best… Brian tirelessly problem solved, was creative, pragmatic, easy to work with, and patient. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding and every detail is top notch. Recently our Uncle who is a retired contractor from an upscale Southern California area came to see our house. He spent over an hour raving about the quality of work done by every trade and was blown away that little Chico would have such talent. Pretty sure that our home would not be ‘magazine worthy’ (per the uncle) without Airehart as our contractor.

Brian Airehart did a wonderful job building our new home. Taylor was an excellent project manager guiding us through the various stages. They were with us every step of the way, from start to finish. We had an unusually dry winter season which they took advantage of making our new home get finished almost three months early. This was a great perk for us since we were in a temporary home after selling our old home. We were able to add many customizations that you would not get with a tract home developer. I absolutely love my new theater room, even more than my truck, which is saying a lot. When we first moved into our new home I couldn't get over the feeling I was staying in a luxurious hotel. The Master Bedroom and Master Bathroom are well defined and made to order. Waking up every morning like I was paying for a nice hotel room. Like a good friend they have stayed with us during and after the sale being available for the many questions we asked. They are extremely patient, While we are not the toughest customers , we were are the easiest either. We will be going with them to build our backyard pool and area making the hotel feeling feel more like a resort. I can't wait.

My wife and I contracted with Airehart Construction in 2007 to build our dream home. From the bidding process (very competitive) thru the completion of construction (on schedule and on budget) we were very impressed with Brian and his crew/subs. Fantastic communication throughout the entire project. Many meetings and discussions where Brian would tell us of a decision that needed to be made 2-4 weeks out so we never felt rushed. Attention to detail was impeccable along with creative suggestions (many of which we implemented). Brian was also very accommodating when our previous house sold much faster than expected and we needed to store furnishings in the garage and actually move in a few weeks early. Brian also coordinated with the pool construction firm and landscapers as required to get their jobs done. Over the past 12 years, we have hosted numerous visits of families looking to build in the area and chose their contractor. We are very proud to show our beautiful home and always give Airehart Construction/Brian a 5 star rating. We would not hesitate to use him again if we ever decide to build another custom home.

Brian and his crew were professional and friendly. They listened well and prioritized attention to both getting the job done and getting the customer in to the home they wanted. The job was adding a master bedroom suite to an older (1923) California bungalow home. The transition from older home to new was seamless in design and execution. From both inside and out, it looks like it was always there. Brian also did custom interior and exterior concrete work for us. A bathroom counter and a kitchen counter were fabricated. Both were stylish, fit the feel of the room, and brought in a nice color touch too. Outside, in addition to standard patio and backyard walkway, Brian and his crew planned out and installed a wheel chair to make the home fully accessible, and created an extra outside private patio space in the process. Very satisfied with the result, and with using it the past two years.

Airehart Construction provided exemplary service for a several month-long project involving the tearing down of a garage-office, the building of a stand-alone library and two-car garage, and extensive concrete work. Brian's own stewardship was wholly professional, with a distinctive artistic flair and a ecological sensitivity in keeping with our own sensibilities. He was calm, even-tempered, and thoroughly knowledgeable; he ever patiently heeded any concerns we offered, listening patiently, devising workable solutions, and reassuring us that everything would be completed to our full satisfaction. And, happily it was. His workmen were first-rate, courteous, and considerate to our family. The attention to detail was exactly what we were hoping for, and the end product, ideal. We look forward to working with Brian again on a major renovation involving our house.

Brian has built houses for me that l have designed for quite some time now. I can always count on him doing an excellent and above parr job. I have a great time with him dealing with materials and methods of construction, especially his artfull use of concrete finishes and rough hewn timbers. We've hired Airehart Construction for many projects over the years. From remodeling our home to building us an outdoor paradise. Everything was completed on time and on budget. Our latest project was a request for a work of art for our dinning area. We met with Brian and shared with him our request for a one of a kind piece of art in the form of a dinning table for our family. He ran with it and what we received was a true master piece. Over 150 year old black walnut slab top and bench with 2 different kinds of concrete blended in. There's some very unique finishes on the wood and concrete and some hidden fossils that are millions of years old. Every person who walks in our home marvels at how beautiful the table is and it's the talk of our home now. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Brian for any construction project i need.

I first met Brian I'm 2010, and since have worked with him on several occasions on remodel projects. During the build I was very impressed with his in depth knowledge of materials and methods, followed by a high level of execution and craftsmanship. One important point I want to bring up; modern design due to its simplicity and clarity requires a high level of craftsmanship and knowledge of alternative building and methods, this is typically due to many copious details and architectural elements that are associated with this genre of work. There are no trims and crowns or moldings to hide joinery. Brian is definitely a good builder! In my opinion, what makes him unique is that he is one of the only contractors that I have met in Chico that has a very keen sense of modern design coupled with a great sense of aesthetics. This understanding facilitated and developed a trusting relationship between owner, builder and designers, leading towards successful outcomes and highly satisfied homeowners. We look forward to working with Brian and his team in many future projects to come, and we highly recommend him and his team for all your design / build needs!

In my thirty years in the architectural design business, I've encountered many hundreds of tradespeople and professionals. I distinctly remember meeting Brian Airehart about fifteen years ago. He was framing a large and complicated home I designed. Brian made a strong impression on me because of his conscientiousness, enthusiasm and attention to detail. Since that project Brian and I have worked together on many custom homes and remodels. He has always been in my top tier of contractor recommendations. I feel confident that Brian and his team will execute designs with precision, come in on budget, promote seamless communication and make clients happy! Brian is also never content with his present level of knowledge. He strives to understand materials and workmanship at a higher level. Brian lives construction and it shows in the way he executes every project!

Our project was new custom home construction. We had heard from a number of persons that he was the best for his attention to architectural detail, had a crew of his own who had been with him for a number of years and he himself was hands on with foundation, framing and hard scape details. He was also considerate of our budget concerns. One example, our design plans called for two radius windows going almost to the ceiling down to the floor. in both the library and study which were located on either side of the front door. This required shatterproof glass. He suggested that the windows be moved up a few inches from the floor so regular glass could be used. We couldn't tell the difference and the windows look great.
