Wow!!... Angela and her team did an AMAZING job - our home and yard have been completely transformed and we LOVE it!! and she made it so easy for us... When we first talked about the project, Angela asked great questions and really listened to us, wanting to understand the look and feel we wanted. The plans she created reflected our ideas as well as new ones that built on ours in an imaginative and beautiful way - she worked with us to accomplish what we wanted in a way that worked for our home. Even more amazing was how easy the process was. She has so much knowledge and experience at this, and yet is so open to talking through ideas - too often, those two qualities don't go together. She and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with. Our only regret is not having called her sooner - we should have done this years ago!! :-)

The tiers of our sloping garden were constructed from long wooden ties that were slowly rotting. Walls and steps were collapsing and becoming unsafe. We needed a complete redesign. Earth Mama was highly recommended by a friend so we asked for a consultation. Angela Jobe walked the property and came up with options for us to consider. We were impressed by her ability to quickly visualize ways of transforming the garden whilst remaining mindful of our budget constraints. When Fortunato and his team of expert stone masons began working we were equally impressed. This whole company operates with respect for both client and workers. I wasn't surprised to learn that most of Fortunato’s team have been with him for many years. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Our questions and any requests for small changes were quickly responded to. We are thrilled with the results. The garden looks fantastic with natural stone retaining walls, boulders, large stepping stones, and a new patio area. Plants that were carefully transplanted to accommodate the changes are thriving. I highly recommend this company.

Angela Jobe of Earth Mama is a brilliant master gardener and landscape designer. She has done multiple jobs for me of varying magnitude and cost. She has shored up a guest parking area by bringing in tons of huge boulders and finishing it off with a beautiful river birch and various spring-flowering bulbs to line the top. She created a lovely pebble patio and garden just outside a two story greenhouse window, complete with multiple flowering shade plants including lace hydrangeas, andromeda, astilbe, lady's mantle and rhododendron. After an early snow took out a cluster of old trees that left us more exposed than we liked, Angela suggested we find young birch trees to take their place. She found the birches (at a good price) planted and helped maintain them as they established themselves.Three years later, we have a wildflower field set off by occasional stands of gorgeous caramel colored river birches. She has updated and regularly augments and maintains several perennial gardens and borders, has ordered and planted hundreds of bulbs all over the 4-acre property and comes weekly or as needed to maintain the property that she has designed and planted so beautifully.

After viewing Angela Jobe's excellent work at the homes of several friends I hired Earth Mama Landscape Design to do a quick transformation of my neglected backyard just in time for a major party. It was inspiring to see Angela and her team at work. Her vision for a new patio and two retaining walls was perfect, and the project was completed in less than two weeks! The back patio was designed in keeping with the one in the front of the house that she also designed and had executed by her able crew several years earlier. In addition to the stone work two terraces and several beds were planted. All of this was done well within budget and the result is spectacular. Having such a beautifully finished yard makes the house seem larger, the inside and outside seamlessly merging. All interactions with Angela and those working with her were warm, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this "Earth Mama" for her creativity, knowledge of her subject, and personal warmth.

Angela, the Earth Mama, knows her babies! The beautiful, imaginative flowerbeds she designed to surround our home are thriving! Angela has wonderful taste and knows how to complement different styles of architecture and work with the setting. The work was done in a timely and professional manner by her and her friendly staff. Angela complemented the beds with marvellous container plantings that looked great all season long. I just love coming home to my inviting new entryway, or sitting on my porch surrounded by a profusion of colors and textures.

Angela built a beautiful stone patio and garden in our back yard. She spent time with us and discussed our ideas and then walked our yard and took photos to get a good sense of our property and our taste with the design of our home and our existing plantings. She came back with beautiful designs and talked us through them. When we agreed on a design she executed it with great attention to detail and the highest level of professionalism. Our home has an older colonial look and she built a patio that looks like it has been here for years. We really love her work, the quality and workmanship is top notch.

We hired Earth Mama last spring to help us decide what to do with our tired and storm damaged landscaping. Angela's recommendations were great - she saw opportunities we hadn't even considered and helped us understand that what we saw as priorities were not the real issues with the way our property looked. With the exception of a vegetable garden, which we still hope to put in one of these days, we went with all of Angela's suggestions. The installation and other prep work were timely and professional and reasonably priced.

I was pleased that Earth Mama listened to the hopes my wife and I had for our property and turned those hopes into specific, beautiful settings throughout the property beyond what we could have imagined. She and her crew were consistently courteous and professional -- and they finished ON TIME.

Angela at Earth Mama designed a wonderful backyard, woodland garden for my wife and me. She listened to our preferences, helped us select the flowers, plants, and trees, and then managed the planting and construction of them. She also designed and oversaw the construction of a beautiful curved stone wall surrounding a new stone patio she created. Earth Mama has the creativity, energy, and skill to really enhance your garden, yard, or patio. She listened to us, gave us great advice, and completed the work on time and as promised. And she is reasonably priced!!

After many years with various landscapers who I was never quite satisfied with, I was recommended to Earth Mama Landscape Design by a friend in early 2012. Upon my initial meeting with the principal, Angela Jobe, I was immediately taken with her infectious enthusiasm as she walked the property with me, respectfully pointing out pros and cons and ideas for projects and plantings. I can say with the utmost sincerity that her company is the perfect design and landscape company; they undertook various projects throughout the year - including designing new beds, reconfiguring the drive, adding beautiful stonework, selection and planting of new trees and perennials, as well as weekly maintenance of the property. Her staff is always courteous, prompt and reliable, and her pricing very fair and reasonable. The only hesitation I had in writing this review and giving Earth Mama Landscape the most perfect score I could give a designer, is that I worry they will get too busy to keep coming to me! For sure, you cannot go wrong in hiring this company and Angela and her staff will be lovely to work with. My highest recommendation.
