I had 2 quotes from a well known Garage door company and I was pretty set on the other company. A. J kindly explained the difference between the door from the other company and the door he was going to install. Boy am I glad I did not consider the other company. His work was superior. He had to match the doors from the strictest HOA I have every seen and he went beyond that. I have the most beautiful door in the complex and it goes beyond meeting the HOA requirements. His technique for quoting and paperwork is old school. Don't be frightened by this. He is true to his word and meets all of his commitments and more. We should have more contractors that work with the old school method. It brings out the true honesty and commitment A. J. has for his clients. He does the quote, sets the date of installation and the work is done and totally cleaned up. His installers take their time to make sure everything is correct. He will be doing a garage door on a second house for me and I look forward to the same respect and craftsmanship. I can't say enough good things about AJ and his company. I contacted AJ due to the fact I had him repair my garage door in the past and did a very good job I called him this time because the spring on the door broke and he sent out a repairman the same day who in my opinion did a very good job and was only here approximately 30 minutes.

I had to have commercial garage door openers installed at my home to accomodate a lift in my garage. Anthony was pleasant and professional, and did a good job, so I had referred him to several other people as well. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the doors and cables several months ago, so I had called them. I did not receive a call back on several occasions. Another time, I had an appointment with a two hour window... I waited nearly four hours, and then when I called the office, I was told that he was here briefly, took a look at it, and would come back another day. He didnt bother to ring the doorbell and tell me he was here, or discuss the job with me. I called several times for a follow up appointment, but never was responded to. Its too bad when you give someone the big job, but they are too busy, or dont care enough, to come back and give you the service for the smaller repair, especially when it is on their own work. I would never treat my clients like that. I think if you are going to spend your money, find someone you are confident will stand by their work after the job is done. I wish I did.

Anthony from AJ Garage Door does a great job installing aluminum and glass garage doors. I also highly recommend him for servicing all makes and models of garage doors.

We hired AJ Garage Door back in May 2014 for a custom garage door project at our new house in Greenlawn. He worked closely with our Architect and we were impressed with both his technical expertise and craftsmanship. We love our gorgeous Sapele Mahogany garage doors! I had a garage door put in by AJ Garage door 2 years ago. On June 16, 2014 the cable snaps and I cannot get the garage door open. I called and Spoke to Anthony on Monday and he said he would be there either Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. Not only did he not show but he did not return my phone calls. I had to hire another contractor to replace the cable which should have never broken. However the materials used on this door was substandard. If you are looking for customer service this is not your company. Not only do they not stand behind the product they never return your phone call.

We bought a garage door and opener from AJ about a year ago. Since then, there have been intermittent times when the door will not open at all. It is happening again now and AJ is unresponsive. If service is important to you, you might want to think twice about using AJ.

After having several garage door companies not show up for appointments and not return my calls I got in touch with AJ Garage door. Anthony made purchasing my new garage door a very pleasurable experience. Not only was he there to help me with the selection but he kept me in the loop about delivery and installation dates all along the process. I needed a service call and Anthony showed up on a Saturday and took care of my issue immediately. All I can say is that AJ garage door is the only garage door company I recommend to my clients and use in my own home.
