Allan is one of the best builders I have had the pleasure of working with. We bought our home from another family that Allan built the home for 6 years ago. We had a few questions and concerned so I called him. He immediately answered the call and within a few days came to my home with his lead contractor and went over each detail and assured me of all my concerns. I would definitely recommend him for his service. Also, the attention to detail in the features of our home is second to none.

We purchased a home in River Oaks that Allan had built eleven years earlier. We liked the design and the layout of the home and it has been a great home for our family. Building your forever home can be emotional and taxing, but Allan uses the most up to date software, pictures and time line to keep you informed daily on what is going on with your home and also to keep your selections current and on time. He uses only the highest quality finishes as well as the best trades to build your home in Houston. Even if you make a mistake (I thought I did not want an island in my closet but decided after move in I needed one), he will do everything possible to correct it and make you happy! He has a well trained eye and walks your house often during the process to make sure it meets with his high standards. Allan Edwards built my house 20 years ago. Since we had no problems with the house, we lost touch. Then came hurricane Harvey and we flooded. By the time we realized the magnitude of the damage, it was impossible to find a contractor. One phone call to Allan and he was there in 30 minutes. Took care of the entire project, worked with us on our budget and delivered a house which I feel is more beautiful (images attached). Impeccable work and attention to detail. Allan was our angel in our hour of need. There are good and decent people in this world! Allan Edwards epitomizes the goodness in humanity.

We are very happy with the work that Allan did on our home and we would not hesitate to use him again. Going through the building process can be difficult at best, particularly when it is a full, historical renovation such as ours. What made our task even more daunting was the fact that we were living overseas at the time the work was being done. However, Allan and his team did a great job on the house, and they did a good job keeping us up to date and communicating with us about issues. In fact, one of the driving reasons that I so am comfortable giving 5 stars to Allan is that he never walked away from an issue or concern that we raised. Every project will have its issues, but what counts for us is how the builder manages those issues. Allan was always responsive and gave us confidence in the work being done. We love our home.

My husband and I have built several houses, and I can honestly say this was the most trouble-free and hassle-free experience we have ever had with a builder. Dick Davies, the superintendent was at our job every day and Allan was there most days. When we were out of town for any period of time, they sent us regular photos showing the progress. All of the subs were first-class. Any time anyone had questions, they called and made sure they were doing everything the way we would want it rather than just putting it together the way they thought we might want it. Our home is beautiful, and it was completed in just under one year. If we EVER build another house, Allan is our builder.

We were not looking to buy but when we saw this house we were amazed with the exceedingly high levels of quality, uniqueness and overall beauty that it had to offer . Neither one of us had ever seen a house as outstanding! It's absolutely beautiful and Allan, Dick and their team have been so supportive and overly helpful over the last year helping us with any needs we've had since we've moved in. Allan builds a very good house; ours was an historic district renovation with a new addition and we are very pleased with it. The details are well thought out and there are many special features which we are delighted to have. Allan himself is a true gentleman; he is concerned about what he has built, he is readily available and easy to contact, and will make sure any glitches or "touch-ups" are corrected even well after closing time. We have been quite fortunate to have him as the owner/builder of our house, and we would certainly recommend him as a builder should anyone ask.

We had custom architectural plans designed by Brickmoon Design and were looking for a luxury custom home builder. Based on our criteria, Allan Edwards won the selection process based on the quality of homes he showed us. Allan doesn't bait and switch by showing you quality craftsmanship and then have a different crew do the work. He uses the same 'best in craft' folks he's used for years and it shows. Allen is a true builder and made recommendations about our materials like stucco and roof tiles as if he was building his personal house and not our specs. “This will cost x more, but you’ll never have to replace it.” He insisted on quality like copper plumbing through the whole process, but was happy to value engineer with options on things that were just preference. Allan had a dedicated superintendent onsite and yet Allan still stopped by daily for inspections. We even found Allen crawling around in the attic after framing to make sure it passed his personal quality control inspection. “it all starts with great bones”. Allen recommended we move our wine cellar from the entry hallway to the dining room for more 'interest' during dinner and he was spot on. Now, 6 years later, we've had zero issues with the house and love it as much as the day we moved in. If we were ever to build another custom home I know exactly who would build it! Thanks again Allan.

My experience began when I contacted him to build a home for me...He located a lot, that wasn't for sale in the neighborhood that was my first choice, and spoke to the owner who agreed to sell the lot ...And at a very reasonable price also! I met with Allan several times to determine who should be my Architect and Interior Designer, based on his vast Experience and working with MANY over the last 40 or so years...He was "Spot On" as both the Architect and Interior Designer were great...Most Especially the Interior Designer, Elizabeth Koval Designs (now married, Elizabeth Perry). Elizabeth was Fabulous as she went "Above and Beyond" an all situations! Accordingly, Allan did the same along with his lead team of Dick Davies and Matt McGinley. From the Foundation, The BEST FRAMING Work I have EVER seen bar none, to the completed House...Absolutely Spectacular and would recommend him to anyone wanting Stunning Quality and a Spectacular House!!!

We knew we wanted Allan Edwards! Glowing recommendations heard throughout our upscale neighborhood had preceded our meeting him. We pursued and finally contracted with Allan to perform a large remodel. As his reputation predicted, he was very professional and knowledgeable with a wealth of experience. He came up with a creative means for sectioning off the house providing workers with their own entrance. Dust and debris were kept out of the living space and there was minimal disruption to our daily lives. Allan and his team offered many helpful ideas and easily solved any unforeseen problems that arose. Allan's Superintendent, Dick, has a sharp eye for detail, a ready smile and a great rapport with the subs assuring work went smoothly and was done well, no cutting corners. The work exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Allan and his team.
