When we first contacted All States our backyard was very sloped and was basically unusable. All States came in and redesigned our backyard in a way that every square inch is functional and usable. It made our yard seem three times bigger. The work was so clean and professional. I really appreciated that the crew showed up on time every morning and worked the entire day. They also made sure to clean up their workspace every night before they went home. Our yard was a massive project that required multiple retaining walls. After finishing a major backyard project with All States a year and a half ago, we had them add a custom rock bubbler and water fountain to our backyard along with some other work this summer. The final product looks amazing. So happy with All States. They care about quality and back up their work. Doug and Garrett were simply awesome to work with and went above and beyond in ensuring our project success. On budget, on time, excellent communications. Garrett was on site every day to meet with us and discuss the project. He and Doug proactively offered solutions on the few occasions when changes were needed, often making suggestions that enhanced the finished project. We chose to work with Ken and All States Landscaping after talking with a couple different companies. We had a big yard with a lot of difficult elevations and we wanted to hire someone we could trust to do it right. We were impressed with Ken’s knowledge and organized responses to our questions and concerns. Ken was a pleasure to work with. He walked us through all every element of our design and gave us different cost options for each. When the crew arrived, they worked quickly and efficiently. The crew was always kind and respectful of our home and privacy. The job was done right with high quality work. A few of the most impressive work was a rock retaining wall, a beautiful fire pit and a brick planter. The foreman and project manager were quick to see possible problems and resolved them quickly. After an exhaustive search for the right landscaping company we finally settled with Ken Doyle and All States Landscaping. Our experience was first class. The project was a complex one and required a company and crew with the knowledge, tools and resources to get it done. Ken’s crew started the project ahead of schedule, finished early and was on budget. We are delighted with the end result.

Thanks to All States Landscaping, we have a beautiful yard. We had Ken Doyle and his team do all of the landscaping for our new home, which included retaining wall with a basement walkout, front yard planter walls, a playground area with trampoline, large cement RV and basketball court, all the remaining area with sprinklers and sod, planter. They handled everything and coordinated all of the projects! Because of a material shortage last year, our project was a little slow but Mauricio was a great guy to work with. He made sure to give us all options and helped us to get the job done. Robert was a great guy too, he helped and showed us how to work with sprinklers. We will recommend All States to everyone!

With 35 years of experience in Utah, it is no surprise All States Landscaping is considered a top choice for projects large and small. I engaged All States to transform our featureless back yard. It was a challenging property — limited access through a narrow opening and down a sloped hill. The rear lot is flanked by a 10-12 foot high and 100 foot long boulder wall, with another home below. And irregular shaped. The team listened and considered our ideas and visited the site several times — and then presented us with design options. The initial design was very close to our vision for the outdoor living space we desired. I valued the options All States presented in terms of materials, plants, and other features under consideration. The project overall went smoothly. The project manager was routinely on site, supervising various trades involved in the construction. And, on most days, we touched base at the end of the day to discuss any issues and align on next steps. Communication was good. The finished space was very close to the design. All States did a wonderful job for us! It was a full-lot extensive landscape with fire/water feature, lots of trees, garden and orchard. Very professionally done!

We couldn't have more good things to say about All States Landscaping! First, let's start with the President and Owner Ken Doyle. We called 4 different companies and Ken was the only one to come to the house and give us a quote. He visited in just a few days and did a thoughtful walkthrough of the entire backyard to help us develop our own ideas and then add some of his personal touches and experience. He had designer Darren come out a week later to walk the yard with us to fine tune the design and colors. Darren later presented us with a detailed backyard landscape plan to visualize the design. The design included trees and plants to be used to help bring the plan to life (see attached). The full job started in just a few weeks and was led by Mauricio Munoz as our Project Manager. Mauricio could not have been more fabulous. He was on site and checked in with us several times per day as key changes and/or decisions were being made. He brought creative ideas and solutions to the project as we made a few changes on the fly and we were amazed at the progress each week. In fact, he still follows up with me today months after the project was done. The entire crew under Mauricio including Luis as foreman were fabulous and easy to work with each day. Ken and Mauricio were back to approve the final results and we couldn't be happier with the results. Ken and Mauricio have also been incredibly responsive and easy to work with as we have added a few more touch-ups and projects after the initial plan was completed. We can post more pictures as the colors come to life in the spring. First-class team and results that we would highly recommend.

Ken and his team did a great job at providing a clear summary of the project and the plans we go before it started was super helpful to see our vision come about. We’re super happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to spend our summer nights in our yard!

Beware! I initially gave them 5 stars for helping with a remodel of my backyard. We were guaranteed a 1 year warranty on all trees, flowers and bushes they planted. We had 2 trees, 2 bushes and 3 perennial flowers die. We were told we had to put in our request for new plants before the 1 year was up. We put in our request for new plants in mid May 2021. I've called several times and left many voicemails with no return of any communication whatsoever. Beware because they really won't warranty your plants!!

All I can say is WOW - what a great final product we got. Allstates has created an amazing getaway for us in our own backyard. From the fabulous water feature to the great deck, fire pit, and pavilion, as well as the high quality grass, trees and shrubbery, everything looks so amazing.

The President of the Company made a trip down to Orem to review my warranty. He took pictures and said some plants have died and tree needs to be replaced etc. He will review the landscape drawings and get back with me. This was fall 2020 and never heard back from anyone at All States Landscaping. Spring is here and I haven't heard anything and thus I believe All States has taken my money and not getting back. I plan to go to local nursery and buy plants and trees myself. I'm very displeased and that the President of the Company even came personally to the house to review the warranty and said they'd take care of me, is unacceptable.

When deciding who to go with on a backyard remodel, we went with who our neighbors used which was Allstates Landscaping. They seemed to have done a beautiful job next door. Little did we know the issues that would follow. We had Greg out to do our initial quote. The vibe we got was that our project was insignificant and he seemed disinterested from the start. He was either repeatedly late for appointments, or completely stood us up one of the times. He was very unresponsive to our questions and we never received a final quote before work began. The start date of our project was delayed multiple times and we were never kept in the loop. We reached out to the owner who we were told was to embarrassed to even talk with us about the issues. They then parted ways with Greg and we got Robert to oversee our remodel. We didn't even know it until the project had already started and we had questions and had to ask someone else. When Robert finally introduced himself, we thought we finally had someone who cared and was going to manage our project right. We were dead wrong. Robert is the kind of guy that tells you what you want to hear, but when rubber meets the road, he doesn't honor what he says and instead turns it back on you insinuating that you are the liar. Needless to say we got to the point that we looked at what we could take away from them and finish on our own just to be done with them. Then the final bill came. It was wrong (in our favor). We reached out to them to let them know, but they weren't getting it. Finally they corrected it and added costs like $250 for bolder placement (they weren't even going to do this even though it was thoroughly discussed with them and it took them 10 minutes to place a couple of boulders and the rest I picked up by hand and placed myself). We did most of the on-site project management and had to continually watch them and have them fix their errors. If we weren't doing so, there would have been multiple issues with our concrete pad and stairs. One of the biggest issues we had, is that we had two sets of concrete steps poured coming out of two bay doors. One of the steps coming out of the door had a steeper grade than it should have. When trying to figure out what to do, I reached out to my friend who is a general contractor and he asked if we meant to make the steps not up to code. We were surprised to hear that comment, but we looked into and he was correct; the brand new $3600 concrete steps were not made to code. When we brought this up, Robert said there was nothing they could do and that they were to code. We got documentation from our city showing that it was not to code, but they kept saying it was. This went on for months and we ended up withholding payment for a time until they finally took a little money off. So frustrating to pay professionals that do work that isn't even up to code and then blame you for it.

After consulting with Ken about our ideas for landscaping, we knew his company was right for our project. His ideas improved upon our original vision and Allstates Landscaping transformed our plain and boring yard into a cozy and inviting haven. We couldn't be happier with the results! The pavers, fire pit, stone sitting wall, and pergola are masterfully crafted. Balanced with the trees and plants it's easy to lazily lose hours to the tranquility of it all. The crew is professional and courteous. Their workmanship and attention to detail is impressive. Would recommend Allstates Landscaping to anyone.

We are very happy we went with All states Landscaping. We had a water feature and a Koi pond put in our backyard and we got exactly what we wanted. Ken, Michael, and their team was wonderful to work with. Their whole team was always willing to listen to what we want and did their best to make sure we were happy. The project turned out beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more.

We are so glad we went with All States Landscaping! We obtained several bids from several companies ranging from large outfits to smaller businesses. The President and Owner of the company Ken came to our home and listened to our proposal and gave solid recommendations. We received our bid less than two days later. We had the unique situation in that we had to wait several months for our funds as we were waiting on a small estate. Ken waited through this tough process with us and then when the funds issued he was ready to work less than two weeks later. The project was just finished this week and it looks absolutely amazing! The workers were professional, friendly, had great ideas when small issues arose and their quality is truly unparalleled. Any concerns we had were immediately addressed by Ken and Efrain. We highly recommend All States Landscaping and look forward to many years of enjoyment on our new patio!

Two thumbs up from us! Ken & his team did a fantastic job with demo & rebuilding of rock retaining walls before weather set in. They were easy to work with and our property looks great...we are excited for spring planting!

We hired Allstates Landscaping to help us with a backyard project of removing some unnecessary fencing, moving garden boxes and pouring concrete for a basketball court. Everything looks great, but what was most appreciated was the level of communication. I had a hard time even getting other landscaping companies to follow through with sending me a bid, but Ken and Efrain were accessible and communicated through the whole project, making sure we were happy and clarifying expectations when necessary. We will be making some other changes to our landscaping in the spring and I look forward to working with them again.

We are happy with the quality of the work All States did for us: sprinklers, sod, retaining wall and concrete.

We hired All States Landscaping to do our entire yard after we moved into a new home. They were reasonably priced and did a great job. We really liked working with Stephanie, who designed the yard. Ken was easy to work with. Marteen and his crew worked hard and knew what they were doing. Our yard turned out beautiful. I would definitely recommend All States.

We recently had our yard landscaped by AllState and we are very pleased with the results. Ken has a great team that knows what they are doing and their work is top quality. They were great about working with me during the project to make sure everything met our needs, and to make adjustments when necessary. It was great to be able to get a plan drawn up for us so we could visualize the project and make changes to a few things. Then Ken's team executed the plan very well. We appreciated that Ken then did a final walk through with us to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction and answer any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Allstates to anyone wanting to have quality work done in their yard.

Overall I'm happy with the work that All States did on my project. I hired them to finish a retaining wall that another company started but couldn't finish. Mike, the sales person, was the best part about working with this company and is a big reason I would hire this company again. The wall was just as promised and exactly what I asked for but I do have a few complaints about service that stop me from giving them a perfect 5 star review. I gave them my deposit I was told I was next on their schedule. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I called the office to get an idea of when I could expect them and was told I was next on the schedule. Another couple weeks went by with no word so I called again and was told the same thing, "I'm next on the schedule". After another week or so went by with no word I finally ran out of patients, I gave Mike a call and told him that I was not happy with the lack of communication and that I was tired of hearing that I am "next on the schedule" and "we are just finishing up this one last project" with no results. Finally things started happening. They did a great job once I got them out here.

AllStates Landscaping did an amazing job, I would give 10 stars if I could. When we bought our house this past fall the only thing lacking was the backyard, it had a small deck and an open dirt area, it was just horrible. Ken came out and took a look at everything and we decided to go with pavers, the end result is beyond our expectations, everything is open and the space has tripled in size from what we had. Taking on such a big project can be daunting but you will not be let down by choosing AllStates.

We were looking to redo our backyard, add a patio with pergola, fire pit, dig in our trampoline, clean out all our flower beds, and we LOVE how the project turned out!! Great job of managing crews and workmanship. Cannot wait to make many memories!!

We reached out to All States to quote a complete remodel of our front and back yard. Ken was very quick on getting out to the site to review the scope of work and was very timely in getting the quote done. Throughout the process the communication between Ken and the project manager was good and I was kept in the loop with what was going on. They tried to stay on schedule and explained any delays so I understood what was going on. When it comes to price, I guess its all relative because they may have not been the cheapest but when I’m in my front yard no body walks by without giving a positive comment on the work that’s done. I would definitely recommend All States to friends and family in the future.

All States did it all! We had All States do some extensive landscaping for our new home which included a large cement RV pad and retaining wall, a basement walkout, walkways, vinyl fencing, sprinklers and sod, and numerous planter beds including a meditative garden on the side of the house! We had one stop shopping with All States! They handled everything, coordinating all of the projects! The cement work was excellent. The walkout was both functional and ornamental. They figured out how to handle having the walkout and the nearby window. They even cut the door and installed it for us. It really looks terrific! The fencing and gate are sturdy and well designed so we can remove the middle gate post and open both gates up to allow vehicles to get through to the back of the RV pad. The meditative garden is all we had hoped it would be! We were very particular about the plants, bushes, and trees and All States found them all for us! They showed us how to work the sprinkler system which included both regular sprinklers and a drip system for the planter areas. And when we needed to bring down the overall cost of the project, Ken sat down with us and helped us figure out what things we could do cheaper and achieve the same look and what things we could wait on and do at a later date, leaving “place holders” for. We couldn’t be more pleased and plan on using All States for future projects!

All States Landscape is amazing at creating beautiful yards. A fantastic landscape architect came out first to go over the plans. He had extensive knowledge concerning the best types of trees, shrubs, flowers etc. in consideration of our lot. He was also very artistic when designing our walkway options, retaining walls and shaping a patio with pavers. Their crew is more than capable. They did a beautiful job with the pavers, retaining walls, water feature, sprinkler system, laying sod, and planting all the various flowers, shrubs and trees etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Designer dis a very nice job and incorporated our inputs effectively. Job was executed professionally and on schedule...included sod, mulch, hardscape, plantings, pergola, and irrigation. Communication sometimes needed a little persistence but they met our tight calendar constraint in the end.

They came out the same day for an estimate. There was some delay in getting back to us with the final quote, but they handled it well. (We did call during the busy season.) The project was completed within the time estimated and they did a great job.

We were perplexed about what to do with our yard because we wanted a flat yard and our foundation ended up being much higher than we wanted. We drove around several neighborhoods to see what we liked and found a yard we liked that Ken and his crew had done, so we called Ken. We met with his landscape architect who listened to our concerns and created an amazing plan for our yard. Then Ken's crew went to work to bring the plan to life. Our yard is beautiful; we are so pleased with the results. Now we are happy for the elevation because Ken used the elevation to create interest and variety. We are also pleased with Allstates quick response to any problems we have had.

This company does the maitenance for our HOA in Sandy. TOTAL TOTAL DIS RESPECT for your property and belongings. They have left my access gate to the back yard open not once but 3 times just this summer. No Big Deal Right...Well every time this happens my very expensive Feild Trial dogs got out. The last time was Thursday Aug. 25th. These dogs have been bred for hundreds of years to RUN and go findbirds. These are not lay up on the porch kind of dogs. I finally got them back Sunday night because I have my number on their collars. Both with severe injuries to there pads. I can not get the owner KEN DOYLE to even call me back. I have talked to his crew (at least the only one i could find that speaks any english at all) to no avail as well. Not to mention the Grill Cover thatt had blown off the deck and they just mowed right over it and it is now shredded. I would not let these people on my property for ANY reason.

The value when comparing cost and the end result is fantastic! Allstates does great at designing a beautiful yard and executing on that design. It's fun to compare our printed landscape design to the finished product. The trees planted were already larger than we expected, and I look forward to having those tree canopies giving shade and coverage. The crew was very friendly - I am comfortable calling or texting the foremen, and even the owner, and getting quick responses. The project took about 1 month to complete, which is very reasonable looking at the amount of work, from weed-covered dirt to a finished beautiful yard.

Allstates provided a landscape architect that gave us ideas we never would have thought of. The company's end product was super high quality and all the workers were very friendly.

BEWARE!!! As they were working on our neighbors yard (yikes) we had them come over to give us an estimate in their down time. The estimate was pretty fair with the exception of sod portion which was double the going rate of sod throughout Utah. We called the following day and agreed to all of the work he bid on but opted to leave out the sod work. He agreed and set an apt for a few days later. The night BEFORE the job was to be done he texted and said that he no longer wanted the job unless we included the sod portion. We declined and said that we wanted what we originally agreed upon. He now won't return our messages and we have no landscaping. Unprofessional is an understatement.
