Rob and his sons worked their magic on our badly water damaged floors. Our 20 year old 6" wide Siberian Larch floors were damaged by a water leak. The material is now unavailable, so they needed to restore the boards. They built a contraption to steam the warped boards back so they could be reinstalled. It was absolutely ingenious! My floors look like nothing has ever happened. They get my highest recommendation. Their work is superb and they were a pleasure to have in my home

I own a house that is more than 100 years old with original antique oak parquet floors. Robert Civiletti restored the floors to their original condition, ahead of schedule, and dust free . Robert and his sons are fantastic craftsmen who love their work and take enormous pride in what they do! Robert was recommended to us by our floor supplier Vermont Flooring to red oak pegged floors in the living room and match the new floors in the bedrooms to replace carpets. The final result is stunning and breath taking. The finishes are seamless and you wouldn't be able to tell where the old and new floors start. We couldn't be more pleased.

Robert and his team did a fantastic job on our floors. We could not be happier with how they were completed. We had some challenges to be addressed i.e. matching an existing floor in the foyer and tying in a hardwood set of stairs with hardwood on two separate stories of the house. I think most importantly they arrived when they said they were going to, communicated an accurate price and timeline and exceeded all of our expectations. They also tacked back up the baseboard moulding that I removed for them to do the job. Highly recommend.

Robert and his crew refinished our oak floors and did an amazing job! They have an incredible vacuum system for dust removal. They started and finished the work on schedule and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We had floors that had been neglected for 18 years, and we thought they would for sure have to be replaced, but Robert and his sons brought them back to their original glory. This is the second time I have used Robert to install oak hardwood floors in my house. I own a small home in Sparta. When working on small floors any imperfection will show. I also asked that the floors to look good but look old at the same time. Robert suggested 5 inch wide oak. One of the hardest parts of the job was to line up the second group of floors with the first ones installed 2 years ago. Robby (Roberts son) and his brother Jeff handel the insall. When they were done you could not tell where one stopped and the other started. This is a family company that I trust enough to leave alone in my house and lock up when they were done for the day. I am from NYC and I trust no one. This family company can handle your flooring job and, be trusted with your belongings. It goes without saying that every that at the end of the wook day they clean the work area and surrounding. Dustless! My wife is happy I am very happy. Refinish of antique chestnut flooring with impact oil. 1 week job that was completed beautifully. Robert and his sons were a pleasure to have in our home. Robert knows precious flooring and restored it to better than ever! He meticulously patched, in period appropriate methods, on knot holes. BTW - it was joyous to hear his sons laughing together - clearly enjoying the work and each other’s company. We will be repeating the business whenever we require service. Robert and his sons did an amazing job on our kitchen floors! We had other contractors come in and said our 1925 floors were too far gone to fix and we had to replace them with oak. Well guess what... we still have our 1925 floors they look amazing!!! The quality of their work is impeccable. We will have them back to finish the rest of the house!

I have been in construction it seems like my whole life but I did not want to install a hardwood floor. I am smart enough to know my limitations. I interviewed about 6 contractors. I went with Robert because I just had a good feeling about him. I was right, Robert showed up on the day he gave me. As it turns out it is a family business. I was lucky enough to have a father and son crew work in my house. The job came out better than I could have hoped for. We recently had floors in four rooms of our home refinished. Civiletti Hardwood Floors did an exceptional job making them look amazing! The floors look like they were replaced and not just refinished. The company says dustless and they really are! I did minimal cleanup following completion, I was extremely pleased with how clean the job was. They took their time to make sure all gaps were filled in and the floors were smooth. I highly recommend Civiletti Hardwood Floors for professional looking work.

We hired Robert and his team to sand and stain our old house's floors. He did an excelant job and floors came out very good. He did not rush to finish the job. He has alot of high end flooring tools. Robert and his team are using industrial lights to check the floors to find out if they miss anything. We were going to use an existing pine flooring in the kitchen after seeing his work we decided to get rid of the old pine flooring in the kitchen and went with white oak flooring to match the downstair. He did very profesional and excelant job doing the kitchen floor too. His estimate was not included the additional bordering for the floor but he went and did a great boards around the primeter and island. We can definately hire him again. He is a floor profesional and I can tell Robert and his team loves their work alot which result very high end floor finishing and installation.

Robert and his crew were very professional, reliable, and needless to say, excellent attention to details. The project was completed on a timely manner. We had Hardwood Floors refinish all of our hardwood floors at our recently purchased 17 year old home, two floors. So, it was a pretty good sized job. Some rooms with normal wear and tear, after 17 years, and others in much needed refinishing. All were expertly refinished and the finishes were flawless. Robert took the time to provide us with on-site staining samples on the actual floors.. Definitely a big plus when you're unsure of what the finish product may look like. His "dustless system" proved to be just that. After the extensive work- over our floors received the whole house was immaculate. They also refinished our front porch which was also sanded down and refinished, renewing the natural beauty of the IPE wood decking. All was professionally done from start to finish. All deadlines, as indicated on signed contract were met, and no additional costs were incurred. Would highly recommend Robert and his crew.

Rob has done many jobs for us and we always know that he will provide our clients with the quality work we expect. After Hurricane Sandy, he worked so quickly to help us get our clients back in there homes. He has done wood floors on ocean front homes that look brand new 10 years later. When Sal's Construction needs wood floors on a project, Rob is the only one we call.

We could not be happier with Robert and his team. Our floors came out great. But more than that the whole process went just as planned. Robert was on time and his team worked and got the job done in the timeframe that they had proposed. Roberts enthusiasm for his process and his desire to make us happy made the whole experience wonderful. For example, Robert wasn't content just to show us how well the floor looked, he had us stand at an angle to the floor so we could see there were no ripples.

The original oak floors were installed in 1952 and now look better than new. People think we installed new floors. Work was done quickly on short notice and done well.

I did not have a good experience with this company. The sander they used scratched my brand new floors. They did come back to try and fix it but resanding the floors again did not take the scratches out again. The scratches are very noticeable and throughout the whole floor. Not what you would expect when paying for a brand new floor! The owner offered to come & sand them for a THIRD time but we declined. Resanding so many times would run down the floor and we didn't feel confident this would fix it as he already tried. We did not feel satisfied with the job at all nor the professionalism of the owner. He rudely slammed the door to my house and scared me & my daughter when he demanded payment for his incomplete job. I have asked for a refund for an incomplete & unsatisfactory job. The owner said he was mailing it out and I have yet to receive it. He does not respond to my phone calls or messages. I would stay far away from this company.

We hired this company after receiving subpar work quality from a different company. We decided to split a bigger project into two smaller projects in order to assess this company's work quality; we had them refinish the 25 year-old floors that the house came with. We were extremely pleased with the results, the time it took for the project to be completed, and the workers' professionalism.

Civiletti Hardwood Floors is truly a family business and you are treated like family. They were very professional and kept to the schedule. There were no hidden fees the price was the price. I would recommend this company to my family and friends. We expected a lot of dust for obvious reasons but they had a system that made the job completely dust free, it was very impressive. Because of how well this project went we are already looking at doing other rooms in our home.

WOW! I was so very impressed! The wood floors we had refinished are GORGEOUS! The company really listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. When you need to do something do it right! There are so many companies that pretend they do it right. After a flood we interviewed companies that were very difficult to get a quote from never mind guarantee a good job. Robert's team did a fantastic job on all of the rooms. They were neat, cared about the job, were trustworthy and showed up when they were supposed to show up ON TIME! I can't say enough good things about the work Robert did on our floors. We have a home built in 1915 and at the end of the job our living and dining room floors were spectacular. Their dustless equipment was wonderful. They paid a great deal of attention to the details, hand scraping and sanding areas not reachable by machine. Several boards had to be replaced and Robert was able to find boards that would match our old floors. They showed up when they said they would and came every day until the job was completed. All this was done for a very fair price. Robert is a true professional who does high quality workx. We have already recommended him to several people and will continue to do so in the future.

Robert truly is a professional. We hired Robert to refinish our old flooring that had been under carpet for 40 yrs. It is a living room dining room combo with stairs going to upper level. I had found Amadeus Hardwood Flooring on Houzz. When I saw the pictures and details of his website I was very impressed thinking if he takes the time to provide such a beautiful website then he must be particular about his work. Well I was right. Christy his wife was very punctual when returning my call, another sign of professionalism. Robert came to give us an estimate and started work the following week. He showed up on time and as promised. His son Robert Jr. accompanied him and the two of them could not have made a better pair. They came with smiles on their faces and could not have been nicer. They worked diligently taking no breaks. Robert uses a dust free sander and it was fabulous.Their work was meticulous. Robert put down a few samples of color and I chose one. After he applied it to the entire floor , I didn't like it. It was not dark enough. I was not happy but would have lived with it. They had worked so hard and I did not want to offend him.After all, I chose the color. The next day Robert came back in and told us that he sensed I was not happy with the color and he applied another color to one of the steps and worked it in and asked me if I liked the darker stain. I was on cloud nine. What he then said to me says volumes about him. He told me that he didn't mind putting another coat on because he just wants his customers to be happy. He was concerned about us being happy!He said his customers are the most important thing to him and he always wants to please them. I was very taken back by this. So he took another day out of his schedule to add to my job just to make sure we were completely satisfied and happy with his work.That is a true professional.He cares about his customers and provides them with a "top of the line impeccable job". Our floors look beautiful and I will recommend this company over every other company.Friendly, professional and caring both Robert and his son Robert Jr. provided a very enjoyable experience.

Rob and Rob Jr. did an outstanding work on our small home in NY state... I got floors done in homes 3 times before and not even close to the quality and looks. The slight difference in cost of service and materials was more than worth the results. Customer service from Christy was 10/10.

This was the second time we used Amadeus Wood Floors for refinishing our floors. The first time Robert refinished 85+ year old pine floors in two rooms. They are beautiful! The second time Robert refinished oak floors in three rooms. In a small area between the pine and oak floors, Robert designed and put in a pattern incorporating both pine and oak which tied the two areas together. It looks great! He went above and beyond his original scope of work but did not charge us extra. He is artistic and professional. His employees are polite and hard working. They were respectful and conscientious workers.

We hired Robert to install hardwood floors in our great room and hallway. He and his wife helped us choose the perfect wood for the feel of our home, He and his crew started working on schedule, and finished on the early side of their estimate. Robert's craftsmanship shows through the layout or the rustic boards and the detail around the fireplace. From the carpet removal and tile demo to the finished product, they were wonderful to work with.

Robert did a wonderful job of installing hardwood floors throughout the upper level of our house. We loved that they are a full service company and took care of all of our needs (i.e. pulling up old carpeting, disposing of it, moving furniture, etc.). From beginning to end they were conscientious and followed through. We are so happy that we are now having our family room (downstairs) done by them!!

We had the hardwood floors on the main level of our home refinished. They were in really bad shape! Robert came, gave us an estimate and assured us that the floors would be beautiful when complete. He told us his system was completely dust free and would take him 3 days. My husband and I were very skeptical about the "dust-free" promise but he offered us the ability to stay in the house through the process and as little disruption as possible. Robert delivered on everything he said! It was totally dust free, we were able to stay in our home through the process and our floors were absolutely beautiful when he finished! We could not be happier with the quality of the work and professionalism delivered. HIGHLY recommend his services!

I have used Amadeus Hardwood Floors a number of times over the last 10 years. They have both installed new floors and refinished already existing floors. My husband found Amadeus hardwood flooring and interiors in the classified section of our local paper. Rob came out an gave us an estimate to refinish our floors. We hired them , they started June 2nd 2014, it took 3 days to complete the job, the exact amount of time they said it would take, the floors came out beautiful and look brand new, I would highly reccommend Amadeus hardwood flooring and interiors. Very happy with their work. The price was very reasonable.

Couldn't ask for better experience. Our house is 100% wood floors, even the closets, and haven't been refinished in at least 40 years. We could not believe the outcome and attention to detail. We were not sure about what stains to use and wood types to fill in some new areas so we really depended on his recommendations, so glad we did. Everything looks brand new and not a spec of dust could be seen. Highly recommended.

In August my family purchased a 150 year old farmhouse. 80% of the home consists of hardwood floors. These needed to be refinished in the worst way. The foyer was plywood, and needed to have a new floor installed to blend in to the existing woodwork. We called upon Robert Civiletti to perform the job, which took less than two weeks, and cost approximately $7500. Not only was Robert extremely professional and prompt, he was able to install a floor in the foyer that looks original and blends seamlessly into the living room. We had all of our stairs refinished, and a new step installed in our sunken living room. After the job was completed, we had Robert return to treat our dining room paneling of tongue in groove pine. We are thrilled with the job and welcome any referrals on behalf of his company.

Rob redid the hardwood floor in our family room recently. He came in, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and then came in a did a wonderful job on the floor. He advertises "No dust" work, and I was not totally convinced. But after seeing what he did, I was very impressed. The floor came out excellent, and true to his word, there was NO DUST! Robert installed hardwood in my Family and Living rooms (approx 700 sq ft) and we are extremely pleased with the service, quality of work, and price. He completed the job on the dates he originally quoted and left our house immaculate when the job was completed. He also exactly matched existing hardwood in adjoining rooms.

I hired Robert in 2002 to install a new floor in my kitchen that had just been remodeled. Robert installed an oak floor on a 45 degree with maple & walnut borders, the project turned out fantastic. I received so many compliments on the floor. In 2006 I hired them again to refinish my dining and living room floors. These floors were so old and beat up I would have never imagined they would look so good! If you are looking for high quality and great craftmanship I highly recommened Robert and his crew.

I have a home that melds a1790 home with new construction. I wanted something that matched the old portion of the house but still blended well with the newer portion of the home. Amadeus did a top notch job with this. They were professional, on-time, and the end product with the wider planks and stain was superb. I will use them again in the future. Highly recommend.
