American Tin Ceilings

I would not recommend American Tin Ceiling. The company is unethical and lacks integrity. We bought ceiling tiles from them for our basement. They ended up being defective which the company admitted. We did not discover the defects until after the tiles were installed. See attached pictures. The brown spots are where the tiles rusted underneath the finish which means something went wrong during the manufacturing process. We even took down one the tiles and sent it to them at our own expense. The only thing they begrudgingly offered us was a product replacement. They refused to pay for the re-installing. So now we are stuck with a defective ceiling as paying $6,000 to have it taken down and reinstalled is not something we can afford. Their behavior is unacceptable and rude. They showed no shame.

Our experience with American Tin Ceilings has been amazing! We are a commercial ceiling contractor and have used many brands. We love the fact that American Tin is made right here in the USA. Customer service is excellent, thanks Ken! Since they manufacture what they sell the price is right on point!!! With so many styles and colors to choose from the selection process may be the most difficult part of the whole process.

Great customer service. My order shipped fast. Tiles arrived in perfect condition on my front step. This is the first time I ever installed a tin ceiling. I ordered the plain tin and painted the tiles to match the dining room chairs. The install and paint took two days. Of course, the room needs new wood, floors and electrical, but you can see the ceiling! This was pretty easy to do, and i am happy with the result. Cost was less than $275.

Very poor customer service that will not return calls or work with long-term customers. Apparently, American Tin Ceiling tiles is all about the $$$ and shows no interest whatsoever in customer satisfaction. Unfortunate! Delivery was delayed by weeks too but of course customers are expected to be patient. Very one-sided company obviously based in greed.

I ordered samples to match the new countertops and my cabinets on March 21st, 2021. They shipped my samples on March 25, 2021. I live on the west coast, they got all the way to UT and then were shipped to PA, then then sent them back to UT to sit a week only to be shipped back to PA again. When I called them to help get the tile samples, I was treated rude by the employees. They did nothing to help get the order to me, either by re shipping the samples or offering a discount. I got absolutely nothing. I to add injury to insult the order is now sitting in NJ! They have had poor ratings lately and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but wished I had not. The reviews are spit on, which is sad because I was so looking forward to making this a part of my kitchen remodel. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge for product not received.

Not happy sent wrong color took a while to recieve and made no apology or offer to correct would not go here unless you just buy silver

American Tin Ceilings has horrible customer service. They will not call back unless you are calling to buy more product. I would not recommend buying from this company.

I HATE IT when businesses lie!!! Their website and actual invoice state very clearly - 6-10 business days for delivery for a standard pattern and color. So I ordered accordingly...a standard color and pattern. 4 weeks on I have yet to receive anything! Nothing...not an email saying when to expect my delivery. Nothing!!! I paid $500+ and have heard NOTHING! Hey - if it takes 4 weeks for delivery...fine. But tell me that...don't lie!

Great product, some of the best customer service I have ever received. A representative called me about the second order I placed.I had mistakenly ordered a panel finish that didn't match my original order and he wanted to make sure I got the correct product.

Have worked with American Tin on a lot of projects. Prices are reasonable, product is beautiful, service is outstanding. Very happy overall
