I recently hired Amy Trowman Design for interior design and furnishing of my new construction 4,000 square foot beach house. Amy Trowman and her team were a delight to work with every step of the way. They truly listened to what I wanted, communicated frequently and thoroughly and always offered multiple options. They selected beautiful furniture and fixtures that matched our taste and lifestyle, making our home a beautiful and comfortable place to live. We had a limited budget for furnishing a full house, inside and outside, and Amy Trowman and her team not only honored our budget, but delivered a product that looked very high end. I would not hesitate to recommend Amy and her team to anyone looking for an interior designer. They are very talented designers and lovely people to work with.

I worked with Amy on a new construction home on Daniel Island. She was a fantastic guide to keep me on track, give me guidance and help me through what can be an overwhelming process. She was a delight to work with and I loved her creativity to think outside of the box and collaborate with me to create a home which has a coastal feel with some unique and interesting elements. I have worked with Amy on several projects, including a beachfront full home remodel that took place on the Isle of Palms while I was still living in Chicago. Amy was nothing short of amazing. Amy's sense of design is outstanding, but beyond that she really considers how you will use and live in your home. She has the best eye for color that I have ever encountered. Amy works very well with all the other players involved: contractors, architects, subcontractors, etc. My home is 100% better because of Amy's involvement. She is currently helping me with a mountain home and, again, her input is invaluable. Finally, Amy communicates well and is an absolute pleasure to be around.

We built a home on Isle of Palms and could not have done it without Amy Trowman Design. We live in Connecticut and the home was built without us on site. We love our home and have Amy to thank for that. There are a number of things that stand out about Amy and her firm. We rent our 6-bedroom home and she mastered the incredible challenge of decorating a home that could withstand the wear and tear of renting, but also provide the comforts and feel of home when we are there. She managed the builder, asking hard and meaning questions, pushing back when needed and building a relationship of respect. She delivered the work on time and on budget. I have worked with a number of other interior designers and this was a first! She solved a number of challenging problems, some logistical, some design related. She is an awesome problem solver. Amy has mastered the balance of creativity and practicality with a wow factor. She is as much a businesswoman as a designer and that proved invaluable to us. She is flexible, personable, and decisive. We love sharing our home with family and friends as they are always impressed with the look and feel. It reflects the island, the current design trends, and most importantly our tastes.

I don't give five star ratings often but Amy Trowman truly deserves the five star ratings. I have worked with Amy on multiple projects and we are now working on my new construction home. Amy and her staff are so pleasant to work with. Besides having a wonderful design sense, Amy can intuitively interpret what you want, even when you can't describe it! She is always respectful of your style and your budget and adds that special touch that makes a house your home. I highly recommend Amy Trowman Design.

I have worked with Amy Trowman on many projects over the last 8 years but knew of her by reputation before that. What I like about working with Amy is that each design is tailored to seamlessly blend the architecture of each home with the aesthetic preferences of the homeowner, creating beautiful spaces that are uniquely personal and customized. We recently completed a custom home on Sullivan's Island and Amy was involved from start to finish. Amy was absolutely amazing to work with! Amy and her team were very organized, on schedule with selections, and they actually paid attention to the allowances that we provided, which doesn't happen very often. I'll start by saying I rarely write a review, but this is one I could not pass up. I've moved many times over the years and worked with numerous decorators, Amy is by far the very best decorator, and person, I've experienced. She has helped me on 3 different projects locally and although they were of varying scopes she treated each one with such respect. She has the ability to zone in on your tastes and make your home even more yours! As far as a budget, she sticks to it and goes out of her way to save you money even though it may take her more time. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.

Amy did an amazing job helping to design and decorate my new beach house. It turned out absolutely beautiful and I never would have been able to do it without her! Her advice was spot on (even when I doubted it!) and she truly always had my best interests in mind. Her number one goal was for me to be 100% happy with my new house and I am! But, she also made sure that I was making smart decisions as well. It was a delicate balancing act and she managed it perfectly!
