Redefine Design

It was a pleasure working with Redefine Design (Anna). Anna is very professional and helpful with all levels of the design process. She offered three separate design plans to choose from and was most accommodating with changes and additions. She even came with me to the City Planning Department to help with the permit application process. She had to provide further details for the picky planners which meant that she had to redo and reprint the plans twice and she was most gracious about it. She offered all her expertise, knowledge and know how without any hesitation. Thanks for all the help.

Our condo, in its original 40-year-old condition and multi-leveled with angular, atypical spaces, was a challenging renovation that we could not have successfully completed without Anna’s vision and sensitivity. Anna consulted extensively with us and provided a range of options for various aspects of the renovation. She drew up the documents needed for required permitting and guided us through the process, prepared measured drawings, helped us select materials and finishes, and worked with our contractor throughout to ensure that the best solutions to problems were undertaken where ever possible. She did all of this in a professional and organized manner, and her friendly personality and positive attitude made her a pleasure to work with. She not only respected our particular needs, taste, and budget but also showed imagination and innovation throughout . As only one example, Anna continued to work on the design of an island for our kitchen until she designed a multi-sided one that has improved accessibility, work space, and storage, making our kitchen a treat to work in.
