Armond Aquatech Pools

This company, including the owner Jeff, should not be in business. They will take your money, install a pool, then whenever there is a problem, they are either unresponsive, slow (literally years for some things) or point the blame at you. They take zero accountability to their poor actions and their poor service, and when you escilate things to the owner (Jeff), he too comes up with a slew of excuses for his problems. 10+ years as a customer, hundreds of thousands of dollars later, and after dozens of complaints and giving them second, third, fourth, chances, I am finally walking away. And when I tried to reason with them most recently and laid out all of my issues over the years, here came the excuses. Jeff (owner of Armond) continued to make excuses for him and his teams poor actions and take zero accountability. They can't maintain a pool properly. Their heaters they install break often and they point the blame. They have ruined the travertine around my pool and ruined my pebble liner with muratic acid, they dont install spas proprerly, and their customer service is terrible. Attached is a photo of my pool- they one they advertise all over social media. I will never use them again!

Jeff told me he would build my pool as if it were his own and he lived up to it every step of the way. Extremely responsive throughout the project. His team was accommodating and great to work with. When I needed a change midstream he worked thru it with me and still finished exactly when he said he would. Highly recommended

Jeff and his team were outstanding - from the bid process through all of the planning, implementation and follow-up processes and details. We needed a total reconstruction of our pool including installation of a ramp for the women and men with intellectual and physical disabilities that we serve. Jeff met with our management team and designed a pool that would meet all of our needs. We now have a pool that is absolutely beautiful and, more importantly, now allows our women and men to benefit from needed aquatic therapy. A huge THANK YOU to Jeff and his Armond team!

Mike Ciarrochi at Armond Aquatech was recommended to me by a good friend who had a very large problem with his pool that Mike and his team helped fix. I hired Mike to help with repairs to our pool tile which had fractured and broken down to the point where I was not sure it could be repaired. Mike gave me a bid broken into three parts which we could do one or all of. He recommended I re-plaster the pool in addition to the tile and coping repair which I am so glad I did -- the final product looks beautiful, neat, finished and very durable. Mike was highly professional responsive and timely. Really a perfectly executed job, leaving a very satisfied client!

Hired Mike C to design and construct pool and fieldstone patio at historic home in Delaware County. I would recommend this company, and Mike, especially if you are looking for top quality, thoughtful approach to creating a customized pool that works well with the particulars/style/feel of your home. They do not have a standard pool that they steer you towards, they very much listen to what is important to you and then create the project around your wishes. They toured us to other pool projects they completed so we could generate ideas, and have several pictures and visuals to support the design process. Construction management was also very professional, from their crews on property, through to the finishing touches. They communicated every day, and worked diligently towards deadlines, navigating weather and other factors. They were also cognizant of other aspects of the project and worked with other contractors (ie landscapers) to make the project successful. Finished product was of very high quality, as expected. Budget was as expected, and making any changes along the way was a straightforward budget change process that was transparent and professional. Would highly recommend them, start to finish, for others seeking a top end pool. We are happy customers.

It was a pleasure to work with Mike and his crew . They had built our existing pool back in 1987 and we brought them back in to relay the brick patio , coping and redo the interior of the pool . The quality of the brickwork was outstanding . The mason was incredibly knowledgeable and took his time to get it absolutely perfect . Mike worked closely with us to get the interior of the pool the exact color of the original paint. It was important to us that the pool be brought back to its original glory and Armond exceeded our expectations. Our pool opened one week earlier than our deadline . Job well done !

Armond have built two pools for me - their craftsmanship is of the highest quality and their service is excellent. I would certainly use them again if I were to build another pool and recommend them strongly

We included a pool as part of our 2013 home renovation/addition and I interviewed 3 companies and received estimates from each. Not only was Michael Ciarrochi from Armond the most professional consultant among the 3 pool companies, he was the most diligent and attentive to our needs...and he worked closely with me to match "apples to apples" so we could ensure we received the most competitive pricing...at the end of the day, it didn't really matter who was the low bidder; it came down to whom I trusted the most...and Michael earned my trust and the job. Construction went very smoothly, and on budget (no surprises) as Armond seamlessly integrated into a very large and active greater building project. They started when they said they would, and they adhered to an agreed upon schedule with my GC. The pool is beautiful and Michael did a fabulous job of guiding us through all the decision-making choices from tile selection to plaster color - including personally showing us multiple client pools in our local area. More importantly, as first-time pool owners, Michael and the team at Armond have provided great counsel and service throughout our first year of ownership. I couldn't recommend Armond/Michael more highly.

Armond Aquatech Pools installed our lovely pool 2 years ago. They were professional, courteous, reliable, and do great work. They were onsite every day and easily accessible for questions during the building process.

I would definitely recommend Mike Ciarrochi and Armond Aquatech. I have done numerous construction projects at my home over the last twelve years and have been fortunate to have worked with a phenomenal general contractor who really set some high standards. Knowing my standards and expectations, my contractor recommended Armond Aquatech to build our pool. Building our pool was one of the smoothest projects I have ever been through, which would not have been expected as my general contractor was onsite at the same time building the pool house while Armond was constructing the pool. Armond and my contractor were able to work seamlessly together to get the project done. Armond Aquatech started the project on time. Mike was on site just about every day of the pool construction to make sure that all elements of the construction were handled appropriately. If there was a problem during construction, he personally addressed it. Our pool project was not an easy one given the terrain of our yard, and Armond was able to have the pool completed on time despite these obstacles. We were swimming by Memorial Day having started construction in only March. Mike was able to coordinate not only the pool construction, but also our fence installation. He also assisted with the construction of a river boulder retaining wall for the back side of our pool-all of which turned out terrific. When I am looking to hire a contractor, I expect someone who is reliable (shows up on time and on a consistent basis), trustworthy, does good work and stands behind their work, keeps the jobsite clean and has employees onsite who adhere to these same standards. I felt that Armond met all of these qualities and I would not hesitate having them do more work at my home or recommending them to others. While they may be slightly more expansive, having done so much construction at my house, I truly believe that you get what you pay for and that this slight increase in cost is worth every penny.
