MGI construction did a wonderful job on our attic renovation-with a beautiful new shower and bedroom suite. They also helped create a whole new space on our first floor of our home as well. The support and communication from MGI and crew made the whole process go so smoothly. The sub contractor's work was impeccable. All the tile, HVAC, painting, millwork, electrical and plumbing was so wonderful. MGI and crew were flexible, kind, and all round some of the best construction folks I have ever worked with. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and have recommended them to friends who live in New Orleans area. My interior designer on wishes that they traveled to work with her in the Bay Area. Lol. Thank you MGI for our new home!

In August 2023 Art Vardanyan of MCI Construction responded to our request for some renovations of our condo. His advise was balanced and his suggestions helped to keep our costs reasonable. Art's crew was highly professional and completely trustworthy. The work was completed according to our needs I recommend Art with absolutely certainty.

We hired MGI for a bathroom remodel. When Art tells you he is available "24/7" it is not an exaggeration! He always returned our calls even on the weekends. I can't praise the one of many work crews he has that transformed our bathroom into a "showplace. Their workmanship was meticulous. Before they left every night the workspace was swept and vacuumed. We intend to hire Art for all our repairs and remodeling projects going forward. I gave him 5 stars because that was the maximum allowed. MGI can do it all. Large and small. One call that's all!

MGI helped me through damages to my home after Ida. My insurance company dramatically undervalued the cost of repairs and Art from MGI assembled an itemized list of damages and worked directly with my homeowners insurance to make sure I got the coverage I deserved. From there, we started the process of actually performing repairs. The crew were friendly and professional, and worked extremely hard to complete every project in a timely fashion. Art would regularly show up to check on the work and ensure it was up to his standards. I'm very happy with all of the work completed, would use MGI again in the future for any significant repairs or renovations to my home, and recommend them to anyone needing work.

Art - owner, had been recommended highly by a family member of our company who had used him for a home repair/upgrade. We in turn ask him to quote, with others, on an upcoming job. He was professional and no nonsense type person who gave us a quotation that was fair and we gave him him the contract for doing repairs for one of our rental duplexes and finished it as agreed and we were well satisfied with the job. We in-turn asked him to quote on a larger duplex with much more extensive work required and again his quote was fair and he accomplished the work as agreed and we were well satisfied. We have other real estate related repairs and upgrades and will be asking him for quoting. We, based on the work he and his firm has done for us can highly recommend them. Art and his crew were a complete pleasure to work with. His professionalism and communication are top notch. He always kept us in the loop and finished our gorgeous bathroom remodel on time with efficiency and skill. Art did amazing work in our home. His team did a fabulous job renovating our kitchen, transitioning from 80's galley-style to open, welcoming and more homey/modern. Our bathroom was changed from cramped/dated to open and breathtaking. Truly transformational. Art was available for my questions and concerns whenever I had them.

I have worked with MANY contractors in New Orleans, but none of them met the professionalism, attention to detail, or the ability to keep the work site clean as Art and MGI did! The fact that the job was done ahead of schedule and each day the team begun work promptly and efficiently used the time, was a huge bonus. The quality of all work done more then met my needs. On top of all of that, the pricing for each item I had down was extremely reasonable. My wife loves the closet carefully built by MGI to match the existing home design. I am very satisfied with the way MGI fixed the 100 year old floor in our front room. And all the painting and little details done throughout the house came out amazing. We have done a whole house remodel, more or less. MGI Construction not only provided us with a detailed description of the work and with detailed pricing, they also provided us with a detailed schedule from the get go. No other contractor provided us that. We were pleased that the work progressed as promised and that they cleaned at the end of each day. The house is great and we are very happy.

This is a long-overdue review of MGI Construction, who built our new multi-units subdivision in 2019-20 – with the duration of time from the start of demolition until move-in ready ~14 months for a large project (new construction of 32000 sf+ on an existing site). Art Vardanyan is extremely organized, professional, and honest. The bid was detailed and accurate – any change was due to a decision I made, with costs clearly explained to us. Art was extremely responsive to any suggestions or concerns we had and that naturally arise when going through such a massive project. Prior to commencing on the project, we were warned by many how all new builds are horrible to experience and to brace ourselves – but for us, it was a remarkably good experience, and this has much to do with having MGI Construction run the project. We highly recommend MGI Construction.

Art and his crew did a wonderful, thorough job on multiple projects on our house including replacing and repainting much of our wooden siding, replacing the front columns of our house, installing new window units in our upstairs bedrooms, and repairing rotten rafters. They were very fairly priced, and even invoiced us for $350 less than the original invoice. We have used many different contractors in the past, and this is the first company we have used twice in a row and will continue to use. Art was present daily, and the job was completed (almost) on time with additional projects added that did not affect this time frame. He was very up front with his invoicing, and there were no hidden costs. I would recommend Art for electrical, plumbing, painting, construction, and everything in between. He truly goes above and beyond for his customers.

Very professional, I love the quality of their work. They’ve completed the project 1 month ahead of projected time, and Mr. Art was able to spend $20,000 less from estimated cost. We hire MGI Construction to build a 5 huge duplexes, construction started back in Jun 2019 and as of today (late April 2020) 3 buildings are move-in ready and the remaining 2 are going trough a touch up faze. Professional team, detail oriented management and what is in my opinion is very important, honest owner.

After several bad experiences with contractors, I've become of the mind that one should get three estimates of time and cost... then add them all together. But Art and MGI have completely changed my outlook. He gut-renovated a property for my brother and me, and came in exactly on budget and ahead of schedule. He truly cares about his work and takes great pride in a job well done, which ours most certainly was.

Art, the owner of MGI was recommended by a colleague. We received 4 quotes to completely remodel a home in uptown New Orleans. Art was the most thorough when quoting, bringing in subcontractors to quote each item; Framing, sheet rock, roofing, painting, etc. He was one of the cheapest bidders , but because he was thorough, we went with him. The project was scheduled to take 6 months and was completed in 4. Could have been completed in 3 if I didn't drag my feet and make large changes. In the past I have worked with quite a few contractors. We are always buddy buddy in the beginning, but during the course of the project we always become enemies. Change orders lead to increased pricing, resentment and anger. This was not the case with Art. We changed and added many things to the project that he happily completed with out complaint or additional charges. Art has several crews of workers and was present on the job site almost daily. He gave us feedback, and design ideas that we incorporated. He is in touch with current styles and trends and really helped guide us. Art kept the job site clean at all times and his finishing touches like the bathroom and kitchen were of the highest quality. When the construction was completed he hired a cleaning crew to wipe down the entire building. Really in tuned with the customers expectations and was well above and beyond those. For example, Art has recorded all the codes for all the paint colors. should we need to touch something up down the road he can help us get the paint to match. Hands down, Art is the best contractor I have ever worked with.

Reliable great professional. Knows the domain inside out. Excellent communication, and on-time delivery. Very happy that we hired MGI construction.

Very detail oriented. They vest GS we have ever dealt with. Our job was a historic renovations and MGI did everything is possible to qualify for state and federal credits. Delivered below the budget and proposed timeline.
