I had been in need of a deck replacement for about a year. A-State had done a much smaller job for my next door neighbor recently so I had a first hand look at the speed and quality with which that job was completed. I had been looking online at some different options/ companies but with my being able to observe how quickly and professionally his work was completed I decided to give them a call. Rob was enroute to another job but turned around and was at my house within the hour after I spoke with him. My wife and I explained what we had been thinking about and with a few suggestions and answered questions he promised to get us a quote within the week. We received the quote within a few days which we accepted and I expected it to be a few weeks out before they could start. I was heading out of state to visit family the next day when I received a call from Rob telling me they could work us in which was great since my wife was going to be home to help with any access or questions they might have. To make a long story short before I even got to my sons house in Texas my wife said they had contacted her and would be delivering material within a day or two and be able to start. She was impressed with the guys and their work ethic. Within another couple of days she was sending me pictures of the completed project. This was no small task as they had to totally remove the old wood and posts, excavate and level an area in order to place new concrete supports before beginning. Needless to say we were impressed with the friendly and efficient work from the team that came out. Everything that was promised was delivered ahead of schedule and the clean up was excellent. I would and will highly recommend this group to friends and neighbors and since I have a few other projects that I've been contemplating they will be the first to call. I've included a few pics of the old rotten deck and new clean replacement.

I had water damage in ny bathroom, and they replaced the subfloor and put up a new beam in the crawlspace. Mr. Carroll was very responsive, communicated well, and was receptive to changes I needed to make to the scope of work and my limited budget. The guys that did the work showed up right on time, were very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I plan to use them again.

They are great! The workers are professional, and take their time to make things correct. The quality is exceptional. The only bad thing: they are so busy it takes a little time to get them; but when they leave you WILL be happy. The estimates are to the $.

I contracted them to completely remodel my kitchen. All of the workers were on time, they waited in their trucks until the appointed time to begin the work day. They cleaned up including vacuuming every day. They were very professional, kind, and patient. Their work was excellent. I am so proud of my new kitchen!

I have only positive things to say about A-State Handymen. We have used them on several projects, ranging from small (crown moulding install, balcony railing repair) to large (opening up a wall, tiling/painting kitchen, etc.) and have been very pleased with the quality of their work. Rob and Daniel have always been pleasant, professional, and very upfront about costs and timelines. Their crews are courteous, show up on time and get a lot accomplished during their workday. We have recommended them to several friends, and have yet to hear any negative feedback from any of them. In short, I can unreservedly recommend A-State Handymen for nearly any sort of home project.

I have used this company several times now. It is wonderful to not have to call them back again and again like most companies. They do the work fast and wonderfully! They check when job was compleyed to see if all was how I wanted it. They cleaned up their mess each day when they were finished instead of leaving it laying around. They even vacumed up behind theirselves. I will always use them for everything. Top notch work and respectful workers!!!

We have used A-State for painting, drywall repair and most recently, a complete kitchen remodel. All work performed has been exceptional and conducted in a polite, professional manner. Recommendations made by A-State regarding color, design and material types during the kitchen remodel made the project turn out better than we had imagined. This remodel, completed August 12, 2016, required complete demolition of the existing tile floor and countertops. New porcelain floor tile was laid, travertine backsplash was added above the countertops and the oak cabinets were refinished. For future upgrades or repairs to our home, we will not use anyone but A-State.
