Working with Abigail on our kitchen/ laundry/ pantry renovation was the best decision we could’ve made! I was immediately drawn to her calm energy and creative ideas. She worked with us tirelessly to create our dream space, listening and incorporating all of our ideas, wants and needs… adding her own tips and ideas along the way. Having her here to manage the project as it was happening was also great! She is very responsive and would immediately take action if something weren’t quite right. I highly recommend hiring her!

Abigail was such a find for us! We loved working with her! We wanted to refresh 3 rooms in our CT cape. From her first visit she came with immediate constructive suggestions. My style leans more toward French whorehouse and while I think Abigail’s personal style is more restrained, she came up with some amazing and creative ideas. Abigail is Uber responsive, tenacious and fun to work with. Our projects are finished and the rooms we did truly bring me so much joy and satisfaction. Abigail nailed it!

We’ve been working with Abigail over the past 18 months to remodel & modernize our 1990’s open-plan home, one room at a time. She has come up with countless brilliant ideas to create the light, bright, timeless-modern space we were looking for, including refinishing floors, updating a staircase and all the window trim, and repainting the entire exterior, and we are thrilled with the results. Most recently, she designed and supervised a complete renovation of our kitchen, creating a new layout in the existing space with gorgeous new cabinetry, an extended island with seating space, countertops, appliances, and quartz surfaces, including stunning waterfall edges on the island and a showpiece backsplash with a one-of-a-kind vent hood that she custom-designed and had built for us. Abigail was responsive and professional throughout the entire process, providing us with several possible design layouts to choose from, and walking us through the pros and cons of each. At every step of the way, she offered multiple options and price points, and guided us on choices that would work well together and meet our specifications, down to every last detail. Abigail has an incredible design sense, ingenuity, knowledge of products and processes, and ability to communicate effectively with us and with all of the subcontractors (especially when we had to navigate the inevitable delays and surprises that come with any project of this scope). We couldn’t be happier with how all of our projects have turned out, and look forward to working with her again!

I cannot say enough great things about Abigail and her business, August Interiors. We just moved into a new home and needed design/decor help with a dining room remodel and basement we want to turn in to a laundry room/bedroom/mudroom combo. From the 1st email that Abigail responded to so quickly, to all the appointments and emails after that, Abigail was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely kind. When setting up appointments, Abigail was so easy to work with. We had to work around our crazy work schedules, our kids’ schedules, remote school, and our busy contractor’s schedule, and Abigail always made herself free when worked for all of us - even during crazy snowstorms, a pandemic, our kitchen remodel gut-job, etc. Abigail always follows up and is happy and willing to meet with anyone to make your project come to life.
