Our home had no clear path from the front to the backyard. Dan designed a route using concrete pavers with grass joints. They installed proper drainage, leveled the surface, and added a stone retaining edge where the yard drops. We can easily move from front to back without stepping through grass or mud.

We had a big backyard but no real resting area, so Bakers Stone built a two-level space with stone pavers and built-in seating. The top connects to our house, and the lower level has a lounge area with a fire pit. Their work is beautiful, and they used materials that match our home. The project was a big one, but they handled it smoothly.

Adam was a fantastic person to deal with. I had a pretty routine insulation need on a 35-year old house and had been getting the run-around by multiple companies in the area. Adam was very professional and transparent on what was needed for the job. He also wanted me to see what people had said on Houzz to make sure I was comfortable with his business. He also wasn't trying to up-sell me on things I didn't need which I appreciated. He is also the person who managed the installation on-site. His crew were amazing. They kept my house clean and were in an out in a matter of hours. They did fantastic before and after photos and sealed all my fixtures. It has been about a weeks and I have got to experience the change with both freezing nights and warm summer days. The change is drastic and amazing. It is a whole new house. I could tell almost immediately. Worth every penny. Thank You.

We are very pleased with our new asphalt driveway done by Bakers Stone. David and his team completed this project for us and did an outstanding job. We were great to work with them. They took their time to make sure the job was done right. They spent an enough time prepping the base, and then came back after the compaction has stabilized to pave. This is a company that is very proud of their work and did an excellent job on our driveway and paths on what was a very difficult, sloped block in the hills. They beat every other quote and were extremely professional in their approach. Our driveway is now the envy of the street and sets off our new house perfectly. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our completed project!! After researching several companies we hired Baker Stone to complete to pour our front steps, back patio and carport; and our extensive pool deck and cabana foundation. They were thoughtful and meticulous with the drawings, double checked everything, made sure they were ready to go when the time came to prepare the site and do the pour. We have to say that this company far exceeded our expectations with regards to product, service, and knowledge. Mike, their lead project coordinator, was a pleasure to deal with. Working with Jack was a pleasure. He came to our home several times before starting the job. This was to study the flow of the water in front of our house, which basically created a huge pond where our driveway meets the street. As we are in an area where the city does not maintain the streets and there are no gutters, water actually flows uphill. Jack laid out the asphalt in a way to solve this years long problem. Our neighbors stopped by to get his business card as they saw the quality of his work and wanted to hire him on the spot. Jack sincerely cares about customer service and from reading other reviews prior to hiring him, you have to give a little extra effort to connect with him as he is busy. It is definitely worth it to do so.

Jack was a perfect gentleman, professional as they come yet warm and engaging. We immediately liked him. The materials samples we viewed were first class and impressive. Photos of previous projects looked so good. We signed up. They said what they were going to do, they did what they said and the project was completed early with no fuss or muss. Jack and his crew were uniformed, gracious and just a joy to have around. We love our new front door courtyard. Our neighbors all came by to take a look and agreed with us that it is beautiful. Recently we hired Baker Stone Co. to lay a flagstone patio, put up a new wooden fence, and build a small deck/staircase from the back of our house. They did a fantastic job, and we've been enjoying it ever since. After a few winters of freeze and thaw -- as well as misguided power washing on my part -- the polymeric sand that fills the joints between the flagstones required repair. I contacted David, our Project Manager, to ask what could be done, and he had a crew out within a week to make the needed repair. The patio looks as good as new, and we look forward to enjoying it for years to come. I'd absolutely do business with Baker Stone Co. again, given how well they treat customers even after a project is done.

They communicate well and take great pride in their work. These traits can often be rare to find. They did an absolutely fantastic job of our driveway and also created a beautiful curved pathway in our front garden. They also left the site clean and tidy. Couldn’t be happier with the amazing work they have done. Baker Stone prices are also very reasonable compared to other contractors. Bakers Stone recently completed the excavation and re-installation of our asphalt driveway to address significant buckling. Jacob did a good job explaining what work needed to be done, and the job was completed exactly as scheduled and on budget. He kept us posted and dealt with questions and decisions that could only be made after our damaged driveway was removed in a calm but thorough manner. The job included a new paver pathway and landing to our front door and looks fantastic. We highly recommend them.
