Established in 1998, Balance Design is an interior design studio for clients looking for a ‘decorative modern’ style with a meticulous approach to design. From our studio in Highgate, London, we design richly layered, glamorous and highly individual interiors which are eclectic, yet timeless, with a scrupulous attention to detail and finish—creating outstandingly original results. Led by British designer Paula Gowar, whose background is in fashion, interior architecture and furniture design, we fuse a unique blend of skills and passion to deliver bold and highly personal interiors. Balance Design has been fortunate to have attracted clientele from the development sector, high profile individuals and single-room design seekers, thereby offering flexible design approaches and solutions—be it one room curated around a treasured posession; an entire turn-key home, or rental investment furnishing within a strict budget.
