Barber Builders were a amazing team to work with. There was great communication throughout the build. The remodel was completed in a timely manner. The crew was polite and kept the job site neat, clean and safe. Every subcontractor that was on the job site was professional and did a great job. Don and Brian were so helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish, they stayed within budget and made sure we were happy with the work that was done. Don Barber recently completed a remodel of our kitchen and dining room. We could not have been more pleased with the job Don and his crew did on our remodel. He drew up plans, gave us a bid, and said it would take about six weeks to complete the project. He came in right on budget and finished the project on time. Don cares about quality and gave us suggestions we wouldn’t have thought of down to the smallest details. With over forty years of experience, he knows precisely what needs to be done and the most efficient way to accomplish it. Don’s crew was fabulous. They came every single day, arrived on time, gave a full day’s work, and cleaned up before they left. They did meticulous work and were extremely pleasant to work with. We have just finished our second remodel project with Barber Builders and we are so happy with the results. This project remodeled the kitchen and the end result is a beautiful kitchen that is easier for me to cook and clean…yes, perfect. Barber Builders brought all their experience into planning this project and yet were flexible enough to incorporate our ideas with satisfying results that pleased everyone. Our experience with Barber Builders could only be described as too good to be true, and yet it was true! The quality and integrity with this group is unparalleled. They did all of our gorgeous walnut, soft closure kitchen cabinetry with incredible attention to detail. The tile work in both bathrooms is stunning. We were so impressed by their attention to detail, including making all cabinet bottoms the same height as the flat baseboards throughout the house, making spaces between cabinets the right height for an even number of whole tiles (no line of partial tiles), and perfectly laid porcelain floor tiles spaced through the entire length of the house. Our project had multiple add ons of very complicated site work including additional water tanks and pipes for fire, septic replacement, and replacement of buried water pipes that had been through the previous fire. The Barbers handled all of this with ease, even making sure we had running water and electricity every night. None of this was in our original project specs, but the Barbers made sure it didn't slow down construction of our project. Working with this group was a pleasure. They are open and straightforward about all aspects of the project. The general contractor is on site most days, and the site is cleaner than any construction site I've ever seen. We felt completely comfortable having them at our house when we were not. On top of everything, they had the lowest bid, and they absolutely stuck to it. There were areas where they recommended higher quality products that have turned out to be so necessary, and areas where they saved us a ton of money on less expensive, equal or higher quality finishes, or they just built it themselves! They worked well with everyone else on the project. I could not recommend a contractor more highly. I cannot imagine a better experience than we had with Barber Builders.

Wonderful from start to finish. Don Barber and Brian Barber love what they do. They are true craftsmen, masters of their craft. My wife and I feel so fortunate that we found Barber Builders to build our new home in Santa Barbara. As general contracts, they provided seamless logistical coordination of our new home construction, easily overcoming significant hurdles. Don and Brian also are meticulously attentive to detail with a hands on approach. We trust Don and Brian completely. I had feared that building a home would be agonizing due to the million little decisions. Don and his crew did an extensive master suite and bathroom remodel and expansion few years ago. I wake up every morning, loving my backyard sancturary view from the large window he installed in the bedroom and get spoiled every time I walk into the bathroom suite. The stone work, cabinet color, sunken jet tub, and multiple shower head continue to spoil us!

Barber builders completed a remodel of our entire house. This included reconfiguring the kitchen, cabinets, bathrooms, moldings, windows, tile, doors, and a stamped concrete patio. We were very happy with the work performed. The price was reasonable for what we received. The job was completed within the agreed upon time frames. Don and Brian Barber made numerous suggestions that improved the project without additional cost. It was great to work with a contractor that has the ability to lead us through a vision of the project that is modern and beautiful and complete the work without conflicts. We had the opportunity tour several of Barber builders completed remodels before finalizing our plan. They were all very impressive. We have lived in the remodeled house for over a year now without any problems with the work performed. One other important thing, all of the workers that worked on our project were not only professional and courtious, but looked professional in appearance.
