For around 12 years now I have been fortunate to be part of Barenz Builders' team on many fine residences that they have built in our area. As a landscape architect and project director for landscape installations, I am brought into many of their projects very early and by joining into a collaborative process between Ron and Ronny Barenz, their architect and their client, we all work through various scenarios for siting the home, setting the home's elevation, marrying the architecture of the home into the terrain of each site and getting all of the land use and planning approvals squared away so that projects can get started as soon as possible. Barenz Builders reputation for old world craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer service is well known in the building industry in our area. Less common among many other home builders is Barenz's elevated sensitivity to the exterior site. Our firm appreciates the importance that Barenz places on our part of the process. We also know that we have to meet their high expectations for being engaged with their team of tradespeople throughout the building process, for being on site when needed and last but not least, for producing a high quality result for their client. We had our kitchen remodeled. It involved removing and adding a wall. The kitchen was completely gutted and re-done. I was happy with with most everything. Barenz was in constant contact with us even when we were on vacation in Greece. Ron and Ronnie were the best. Ronnie even took my phone calls on weekends! I was given dates of what would be happening. The only time the dates changed was when I made changes to original plans. Barenz gave suggestons as to where to go to pick out lighting, granite, cabinets, etc but did not appose if I went elsewhere. An allowance was given on items. If I found something I liked at a cheaper price they would credit my account. I found and ordered my sink on line much cheaper than what they quoated me. They didn't have a problem with me ordering it. Kathy was amazing at keeping me sane during the project. Each time an adjustment was made in the price (from our additions/changes or when we bought our lights, sink, etc.) I had an email the next day. Alana at Drexel did our cabinets. I wish she had pointed out a few things out to me before I ordered the cabinets. Since she is a decorator and should have an eye for how the cabinets will be once in, I felt she should have pointed a few things out to me. I love my new kitchen. I would totally recommend Barenz!

Barenz designed and completed our lower level. We received outstanding customer service throughout the process. The Barenz team and their contractors were timely, courteous and within budget. Ronny Barenz always made himself available to answer our questions, which often was on nights and weekends. We enjoyed the process and are very satisfied with the results. The service continues today with Ronny providing advice and recommending quality contractors to assist with home repairs/improvements.
