Baucos, was formed in 2005 by designer and builder Jens Quilitzsch and is a full service residential home design/build firm specializing in living modern European design. Jens’ passion for detail and quality is rooted in his native home in the Black Forrest region of southern Germany . His mission,” to provide meaningful design solutions for individual residential needs”, is the basis for the functionality of our work and is reflected in the timelessness of our design. Baucos specializes in residential home design, remodeling, renovations, and adaptive reuse with the life long demands of the user in mind. We offer an exclusive product line of original designs. Our clients are discerning individuals who seek personalized designs that enrich their everyday lives. The Baucos Group removed my old, water damaged flooring and installed new LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring throughout the downstairs and in the upstairs bathroom. The quality of their work was excellent and I am so pleased with my new floors. The Baucos Group was able to work within my budget, and with their guidance, we were able to get more for our money than we had hoped. They were also willing to work within my tight time frame of needing to be done before out of town company arrived. Jens was extremely knowledgeable, and always very pleasant and cheerful to work with. He was easily reached when I had questions or concerns. If he wasn't able to answer my calls right away, he always returned them in a timely manner I appreciate how he gave professional guidance and opinions on choices I had to make, but didn't try to push me in a direction I did not want to go. Overall, despite living in a construction zone for a week, it was a great experience working with Jens and his colleagues. I would definitely recommend the Baucos Group without hesitation.

Jens is the ultimate professional. My wife and I purchased a foreclosure that had been vacant for 6 years. Jens was the man responsible for turning an unlivable house into our dream home. We renovated every single room in a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom (3200 sq ft) house. Jens got the project done on time and on budget. We have nothing but good things to say about Jens and his work. Throughout the project Jens took care of all of the little things. Being our first renovation, Jens was able to guide us into making all of the right choices, and more than once prevented us from making terrible design decisions. He has an eye for detail and is the only person I would recommend to my friends.

Jonathan Cox

We called Jens to determine and repair the cause of a water leak in our home, and to advise us on patio and landscape design for our back yard. He figured out our leak, along with a low-cost way to fix it, within minutes. And after half an hour in our backyard, he presented us with a wide range of ideas to more effectively utilize our space and to increase its beauty and privacy (two of the things that were most important to us). Jens has been professional, ethical and creative in all of the work that he's done for us. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a home designer/builder.

Jens was a meticulous architectural planner who used technology to create meaningful illustrations that took the mystery out of the project and helped me better understand all of its elements. Once we were settled on the design features, the crew built the complicated structure without a hitch and were respectful of our property. We are proud of our addition.

We used Jens for two projects in our home. He was referred to us by a builder who couldn’t take on our remodel project. How lucky we were. From the first meeting on Jens listened to our hopes and ideas for our master bedroom suite. He took these ideas and turned them into a vision that exceeded our expectations. His design created a sanctuary for my husband and me. During construction he addressed existing structural issues with ingenuity and turned potential setbacks around to benefit the whole project. His staff and contractors mirror Jens’ attention to detail, knowledge, craftsmanship and cleanliness. On our second project we used Jens to design a bathroom for our teenage daughters. All of their needs and wants were addressed and again it turned out to be a fun project. I can’t emphasize enough the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that Jens and his team bring to a project. A realtor friend of ours pointed out that she hasn’t seen this high quality of craftsmanship in a long time. She also verified that the money spent on these projects significantly increased the value of our home. We can and have recommended Jens and his company Baucos Group.
