Bearded Builders

I LOVE our new kitchen. I changed my mind several times during the design process and the communication was great. We ran into a little snag and they got it fixed the following day. Couldn’t recommend Bearded Builders enough!

We hired Bearded Builders to complete a large project in our home. It consisted of two full bathrooms, as well as a redo of our masters suite, including building a small room. The project started off great, and I was impressed by the professionalism displayed by Eric and his team during the initial bid process. Overall I am moderately satisfied with the work, relative to the value and cost. Bearded Builders has top and contractor prices, so I expected corresponding service from start to finish. Unfortunately there were some bumps along the way that have clouded our experience. We live in a 100 year old home, and certain aspects of the job were challenging. I appreciated their eagerness and desire to take things on, and the team was enjoyable to work with through much of the initial planning process. We had just finished the design for our first bathroom remodel, and the designer we were working with left the company. The transition was very shaky, and we were then presented with a brand new and very green, seemingly an experienced designer that was brand new to the company. I felt the experience was more me guiding her and seeking answers to questions that she was not able to help with. When it came time to make selections, I was not confident in her help or abilities which resulted in some bad selections that impacted the project negatively. I should have walked away at that point, but we had already signed a contract and made payments so were invested in moving forward. Then it came time to design the second bathroom. The designer was clueless on many design aspects. In hindsight I wish I would have pushed back more because I am less than satisfied with some of the design aspects. I assumed she knew what she was doing, but her lack of experience shows in our end result. Their our multiple design aspects in our second bathroom that she designed that I wish we had received better advice on. The other key challenge I experienced was after the work wrapped up. It was challenging to get the team to finish up final trailing pieces of work. Also, within the contract there is a year long guarantee on all work. It took me six weeks of emailing Eric before he responded and got someone to our job site to look at issues we were experiencing. There is still one significant outstanding issue, and Eric has not returned my emails for weeks. I will say that for our first bathroom where we worked with the more experienced designer — I am super pleased with the end result and design. I wish that level of design expertise would have continued. Bearded builders definitely has some talented craftsman on their team. I think some of my experience and the challenges I’ve shared here are possibly due to them taking on too much work and attempting to grow too quickly. Eric definitely knows what he’s doing — I just think things were poorly managed.

Bearded Builders recently finished renovating our bathroom and every single aspect of the project was excellent. From the consultation to the design help to the conclusion of the project, they were on time, on budget, and the quality of both the personnel and the work was incredible. BB will be my first call for any kitchen/bath project I have in the future!

Bearded Builders recently completed our kitchen and dining room renovation. We could not be any happier! Taking the leap into a two room renovation was a bit intimidating but Eric and his staff made the whole process so easy, transparent and actually fun! The Bearded Builders not only understood the love we had for our home, but worked to keep its character and make it shine. I had been so nervous to bring a construction company in my home, but this group is so much more. They designed, created, built like no other. We had to put so little thought into the design and details because what they proposed was so us. They worked with our budget and made us feel involved in every twist and turn. We cannot describe how much we now love our home because of them. We have no plans on moving soon, but if we ever do get a new home they are the first for us to call. We love you guys!

When we set out to complete an entire main floor remodel we interviewed several contractors before deciding on Bearded Builders. I immediately had confidence in Eric and his team of talented craftsmen to get the job done. Bearded Builders brought our vision to life and really made our dreams come true! Our job was an extensive, long-term project and yes, we had some challenges.....but whenever a challenge presented itself, the communication was timely and collaborative to determine solutions. We couldn’t be more pleased with our project and I would highly recommend Bearded Builders to help make your dreams come true!

The overall experience of our Master Bath remodel was terrific! Eric, Josh, Jamie, Zach and Austin were ALL great to work with and very accommodating! They were dependable and approachable and we are thrilled with the finish project!

It has been about 6 months since Eric and his crew finished our bathroom remodels. We continue to be 100% satisfied with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. We only regret that we didn't contact Bearded Builders sooner.

We remodeled our kitchen using Bearded Builders. The result is fantastic! Everyone on the team was excellent at their respective crafts, along with being pleasingly pleasant! The work site was kept clean and tidy. I will only use Bearded Builders for future projects.

Eric and Sydney recently designed and remodeled 2 of our bathroom. Zach was the project manager. The work was top notch, on budget and on time. Communication was flawless. There were no surprises. We loved working with them and would recommend them highly.
