Cannot say enough good things about our first major Reno could not have been handled better. John and all of his people were unbelievably talented, friendly and quick. Attention to detail, quality of work and follow up communication just exceeded all our expectations.

Project was a composite material deck over concrete. The concrete surface was anything but level so much work went into installing wood "shims" so that the top surface would be level for application of the deck surface. The resulting deck is excellent in all respects and the project came in within budget estimate. Worked with this contractor since I had great results last year on major bathroom renovations.

We had a complete remodel of our bathroom to create an 'age in place' ensuite. From demolition of the former, to completion took 16 weeks which, given the current material supply and staffing availability issues being felt country wide, was quite acceptable. All the B.Gallant team were courteous and pleasant along with their selected subcontractors and we were kept well informed by Site Manager Mike of the projects progress and when we could expect contractors and/or B Gallant employees to be on site. We are very impressed with the result giving us a lovely 'age in place' ensuite combined with an Asian touch using colour to match an antique Chinese mirror which , along with the vanity, is the centre piece of the bathroom. Invaluable assistance in material selection, overall design and coordination with the cabinet maker was provided by Roné Dorsay of Dorsay Design. From Lynne, handling the accounting and post project photography , to Ken and all his team working on the project we are grateful for a job well done.

We have known Byron for over 20 years, starting with the first job he did for us, which was renovating our deck. Since that time we have moved twice more each time Gallant Homes have done major upgrades to our properties. They have just finished a three part extensive upgrade to our acreage which included both major exterior and interior work. I can not say enough good things about the choice of sub-trades, Byron's own in house trades people and everyone associated with the project. Gallant Homes just completed an extensive renovation of our 1987 home in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. We were living in the home while the five month project took place. We started with B. Gallant and a full ensuite renovation back in 2015/16. From the start we were very happy with the professionalism, communication, creative input and willingness to work with our ideas. We knew before the job was finished that we would have them back to help with the rest of the house upgrades. We’ve now had the team back for three more upgrade phases that included all windows, significant work to the ceilings, floors, rooftop access stairs and an entire kitchen redesign. Steve and his crew of carpenters are top notch. They kept us updated with next steps and if there were unexpected issues uncovered, we knew about them right away accompanied with a plan to remedy. There was plenty of proper attention to small details in the finishing - which is what we’re left with to look at when the 2 x 4s are covered up. The various trades that were needed including roofers, electricians, plumbers, floor installer, tilers, wall prep and painters were also professionally aware that this was our home. We’re happy to say that all were courteous, friendly and took time to talk to us about the job if we asked. We’re so pleased with how our home looks now. We’ve regularly and will always recommend the team at B. Gallant Homes.

We hired B.Gallant to do a renovation on our 1953 rancher. Ken, Steve and the whole crew, including all the trades were very professional, prompt, easy to work with and did an incredible job. The site was always cleaned after the day's work, the workers were all very respectful of us and our cat! as we "lived" in the house during renos. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend B.Gallant to others, because we would hire them again should the need arise.

My sister had her ensuite done beautifully by B.Gallant and so we decided to call them for ours. We were just planning to renovate our ensuite initially but decided to do our kitchen and powder room as well and into the laundry room. Ken, our project manager, showed up early everyday to let us know what was scheduled for that day. He and the tradespeople working on our house were professional, courteous and obviously very skilled. The renovations were completed in good time and we are so pleased with the the result.
