In my experience with BHJR Designs, which spans 7 years and covers the complete ground up design of two houses, I've found Bob to conduct his business in a very professional manner in all respects. His subject knowledge, attention to detail, reliability and responsiveness have all been excellent. He even surprises me at times, recalling a detail from an earlier project that I over-looked.... and it's my house! Bob keeps up with current trends, products, buidling regulations and who's who in the various trades, all of which, are helpful from a design and guidance standpoint. His pricing is reasonable and I believe the fees I've paid have been money well-spent. Lastly, probably the most important aspect of business relationship is integrity. Very rewarding and enjoyable experience working with Bob Howard Jr. Drafting & Design. As hard and challenging designing a home can be, Bob made it a fun experience along with a professional touch. The 3d design made it come to life before our eyes. The final design was spot on. We came to Bob with a short time line and he promptly got us underway into our construction.

He works during hours when we are home and were able to work with him after our work day. He does most of his work by e mail but was also happy to consult with us on the phone. Fantastic! Bob is extremely accommodating. He was able to clearly see our vision for the project and transfer to the design. He provided sketches, 3d renderings and updates all throughout the process. I explained to Bob what my wife and I had in mind for a complicated downstairs remodel that involved changing a family room into a bedroom; putting in a laundry room in the garage to make more room in an existing bathroom, as well as new heating/AC possibilities. Bob's experience in building and design allowed him to ask me question regarding the remodel designs that I never would have thought about. He explained every part of his designs to me, and made the final plans clear with General Notes and Scope of Work for the contractor that we eventually hire to do this work. Bob's attention to detail during this process was impressive. I have already recommended Bob to a co-worker.

Bob also was involved in the scope review process with my contractors at the start of the project. He helped us with the planning board when we discovered , after we started the project ,the location for our shed was not acceptable. Bob was always available to respond to questions during the process.
