We were 600 miles away during most of the building process, but we trusted in Bill and his crew’s attention to detail. Bill kept us informed on a regular basis and guided us every step of the way. Beacon Homes exceeded our expectations and our dream house was completed within budget and ahead of schedule!

Beacon Homes just completed our forever home at the beach! We met with Bill from Beacon Homes before we purchased our lot, and he guided us through the process before we even signed the contract. We went with a factory built home from Simplex and customized it to our taste. We built our home during Covid (no easy task) and from a distance. We were in constant contact with Bill and his crew sharing ideas and vendor recommendations. This is the second home we've built and our fourth kitchen and the experience was a good one. I would definitely recommend beacon homes.

We did not know about Beacon Homes of NJ until we came to an open house, at the location of what is now our current home. As soon as we walked in, we fell in love with the house. After having visited well over two dozen houses during our home search, we immediately noticed the difference in the quality and craftsmanship of Beacon Homes of NJ. The selection of materials, fixtures as well as the attention to detail was impressive. The color choices were exactly what we were looking for. It was as if we had hand picked the fixtures and color choices ourselves. We also had the opportunity to meet the builder at the open house. He was not only very personable and friendly, but also knowledgeable and informative about the entire building process of the home. He was (and continues to be) very responsive in answering our questions and concerns. We could not be happier with our Beacon Homes of NJ.

This is the most recent of 4 new homes that Beacon Homes has built for me and my family. Beacon worked closely with my architect contributing numerous ideas and options which resulted in a truly beautiful and majestic new home. I found myself repeatedly relying on the builder's knowledge and recommendations to refine and improve my vision for the home. The quality of workmanship is truly outstanding starting with framing, installing Sheetrock, painting, followed by 4500 sq ft. of Brazilian hardwood floors and 2,000-plus sq. ft. of tile. The craftsmanship during the finishing stage resulted in a stunning new home. I wholeheartedly recommend Beacon Homes to anyone aspiring to build a new home.

After a year of planning with Bill from Beacon Homes they took less then 8 months to delivery a home that exceeded our expectations. Beacon does not go cheap with their quality of materials they use or the workmanship. Their workers are talented and friendly especially the foreman Spider. They strive for perfection and work with you through out the course of the job. Bill the owner is professional and reliable, the first time we met he told me his job was to take the stress out of building the home and that is exactly what he did. The number of decisions you have to make when building new is mind boggling. As with any other builder after the start of construction changes you make are billed for but Beacon does them as close to costs as possible. We had numerous issues with delays due to Covid and places shutting down, but Bill went out and found other suppliers when necessary to keep the schedule on time. Do not hesitate to use Beacon Homes.

Beacon Homes just completed a new bathroom for us. We are so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail with all aspects of the build. We highly recommend Beacon Homes and will be using them for our next renovation!!!

After living in our first home for 35 years we were both excited and apprehensive about creating our retirement and family home. Having been recommended by our neighbors who used Beacon Homes, Bill Scharfenberg, we began the process. Bill always listened to our thoughts, ideas, and questions and either answered on the spot, or got back to us within days. His incredibly insightful opinions and suggestions on how to proceed or alter if necessary kept everything moving smoothly. Bill's own crew is the best! The subs are equally up to the tasks. Every concern(few) is always quickly handled. We have now been in our new house for one month, completed only 7 months after demolition, and could not be happier or more satisfied. Bill's passion for designing and building what you want, will certainly be evident when you meet with him; and even more evident as the project progresses toward completion!

Absolutely deserves a grade of A+. We were devastated when the builder with whom we had worked for several months died suddenly. Beacon Homes was highly recommended by our modular home company. Bill picked up in the design phase and offered several brilliant enhancements. He has a great team of subcontractors (HVAC, electric, plumbing, hard wood floor, etc.) and one of the most fastidious head carpenters we’ve ever met. The finishing work in our house is simply beautiful. Two things define Bill Scharfenberg’s excellence. The first is his extremely high standards - no corners are cut. The second is how he handles problems. Make no mistake - it’s inevitable that all new house construction will have problems. Bill will handle them all and make certain you are completely satisfied.
