We just completed a home renovation project with Bonomo and Sons and could not be happier with the work, the team, and the process. This was not our first time working with Jack, but it was definitely the biggest project we have completed. For us, this seemed like a complicated job—we knew what we wanted to do, but didn’t know if it could be done or how it could be done. From day one, Jack was coming up with solutions for “how” it could be done and made us feel very confident that it wasn’t an “if” it could be done. Every step of the way, we felt comfortable asking Jack questions, requesting change orders, and seeking his opinion, and through all of that, he was always very professional, patient, and helpful. Jack’s team of skilled professionals is incredible. They know how to do it all, and they do it all so well. They are diligent, hardworking, and highly trained, while also being very kind and respectful individuals. Every single day, no matter what the team was working on, the house was left with really very minimal dust and debris. Floors and walls were cleaned every day, appliances were reconnected, and plumbing was always back on—we never had a disruption to our living situation. To sum up our experience here, we highly recommend Jack and his entire team at Bonomo and Sons. They do quality, beautiful work and are a genuinely honest and trustworthy team. We can’t wait to work with them again!

Jack and his team were fantastic from start to finish. As an architect with a keen eye for design and quality construction, I had high standards for this project, and they met every one of them. Jack transformed our basement into a beautiful, livable space and added a 150 sq. ft. full bathroom with a stand-up shower. Throughout the process, communication was excellent—he was easy to work with, adaptable to changes, and always kept us informed. His crew was skilled, respectful, and maintained a clean worksite, cleaning up daily so as not to disrupt our household. My wife and I were on a tight deadline to finish before the arrival of our second child, and Jack prioritized our schedule, completing the project three weeks early. His pricing was fair—mid-range compared to other estimates—but worth every penny for the attention, integrity, and peace of mind he provided. Any potential cost changes were communicated upfront and required our approval, which is rare in this industry. We highly recommend Jack and look forward to working with him again for future home improvements.

There were 3 major things i was looking for in a contractor specifically for a bigger job. 1) Quality work 2) competitive pricing (staying on budget) and 3) timeliness. Bonomo and sons hit the mark on all of these points. We have been talking to Jack about our project for a few years, figuring out our finances and lining up with the market pricing. There was no pushiness, no gimmicks, but direct advice on what would be best for myself and family in terms of the project. Bonomo finished in 3 months, did great quality work, and stayed really close to budget. Jack gave advice on designs (better eye than me) and helped us with the best possible plans with our architect. The different workers were respectful of our house, stayed near and cleaned up after themselves, any nicks and bumps that happened during construction were promptly fixed (even when they were our fault ). They were good with kids and even the dog , pretty sure they let her out and played with her too. Lastly, we love the addition, it looks great and we are really happy. Bonomo and sons comes highly recommended by me!

We used Bonomo & Sons for our basement renovation project. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with. Jack and his team completely redid our basement from June 2023 thru Sept 2023. They gutted down to the studs, moved pipes to get us more ceiling height, new drywall, new floors, new staircase, installed a bathroom, and cabinets/counter for a small bar area. Bonomo & team were utmost professionals from the time of the initial project meetings, through the iterations on the estimates, proposal/contract, project plan, and every phase of implementation. Jack & Lisa are very responsive and communicate throughout the process. I also got the sense that Jack is a geniune good and trustworthy guy. I would highly recommend Bonomo & Sons for your construction project.

I would highly recommend Bonomo & Sons. They just completed a full renovation of both of our bathrooms. On a daily basis, they took precautions to mitigate the mess by sealing off the rest of our home and then restoring the space at the end of the day. When planning out our design they made good and practical suggestions, as well as reviewing our pieces before we purchased them to ensure they were correct. Their team was always very professional and on time. There was attention to detail, for example we had a chevron tile and at the edges, they filled in tiny pieces to complete the look. They listened to our ideas and feed back. I didn’t not feel like I had to micromanage any part of this project. Professional and good quality work!

Jack and his team were amazing to work with, our kitchen renovation was handled so well from the project planning to the final photos- Bonomo was awesome with their project plan and dates and when we had some hiccups from the structure of our house they were able to give us great options to resolve the problems and it came our beautiful. His team was so nice, they were so clean! Every day the house was meticulous which was really appreciated. We will absolutely use them again for our next project and I highly recommend them to everyone.

This company was enthusiastic about my project. They were the first to evaluate the work that was needed by the plan and was in constant contact with me. The project actually exceeded our budget but they called me in to show me options to actually lower the cost of the project. As far as the actual work, they completely exceeded our expectations. The crew was onsite every morning and never missed a day except for weather on one occasion. They also were quick to fix some minor issues without a hassle. We would gladly use Bonomo and Sons again. We cannot praise them enough for their overall professionalism and work ethic. Jack and Lisa were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

From the initial conversation to final inspection, Bonomo & Sons Inc. were fantastic! They were consistently available, reliable, dependable, reasonable, fair, sufficient, hardworking, and extremally attentive towards us as the customer. First off, working with Lisa was a pleasure as she was instrumental in making our dream a reality and was communicative with us every step of the way. Her innovative 3D renderings and ongoing suggestions took our basement to the next level and allowed us to adjust as the project progressed. She went out of her way to ensure we were in the loop in regards to the ongoing cost and ensured we were financially comfortable with any suggested add ons. All of the workers we encountered were friendly, respectful, courteous, and extremely neat. Miguel was a joy to work with and went above and beyond countless times to ensure our project was exactly what we envisioned. Last, but not least, Jack (owner) was always present, available, and extremely easy to work with despite his very busy schedule. Jack made us always feel like we were a priority and was "present" on the job on a daily basis. A lot of times, owners of companies with such a fantastic reputation are simply figureheads; this is NOT the case with Jack Bonomo. Jack always made himself available from day one and made us feel like we were a priority from start to finish. In conclusion, our basement is now not only completely waterproof (after years of slight, yet annoying water seepage issues), but a true oasis for my family of four. The brand new full bathroom is nothing short of a replica from a luxury hotel, the relocated laundry room is both functional and chic, the new storage area is super beneficial for hidden storage & decluttering, and the TV area feels like we are at a small theater. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Bonomo & Sons and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is considering any type of home renovation.

Bonomo & Sons recently completed an entire second floor renovation of our home, adding a master suite, bedrooms, walk-in closets, bathroom and deck. The entire process from start to finish was transparent and well-communicated. All work was done professionally and with care, while the personnel were knowledgeable and willing to aid us while we navigated the transition into the new living space. Highly recommend this company as they were ready, willing and able to work with us on every aspect of the project from start to finish.

We recently added on a sizable front porch (>500 sq ft) with a fair bit of bells & whistles – 7-foot overhang, stone columns, lights, siding, pavers, front door, new driveway, etc. A few points about working with Bonomo… 1.We met with a handful of contractors before coming across JACK; he was the only one who spent extra time to talk through all the drawing details, provide suggestions, and connect directly with our architect for clarifications – all prior to signing. He got us a quote in a couple of days. Knew we had the right guy from the jump and basically signed on the spot. 2.Jack (and Lisa) handled every piece of material and did a phenomenal job communicating & coordinating schedules for each phase of the project. Impressive job given the supply constraints and it being the dead of winter! 3.Ran into a couple of hiccups along the way, as expected with any project. Never heard Jack fret or complain, and never pushed back the work; just rolled up his sleeves and climbed in the trenches (literally, in our case). He’s that guy – never afraid to get his hands dirty to keep things moving and get the job done. Honestly cannot say enough about Jack, his easy attitude and dedication to his clients. He owns the work and makes sure it gets done right, down to every nuanced detail. Jack is a legit professional and all-around genuine guy – it was a pleasure doing business, we’ll absolutely be reaching back out to Bonomo for our next project.
