Brown + Davis understood our concerns with the existing kitchen and designed a spectacular improvement for us. They are familiar with local contractors and vendors and brought in an excellent team to do the work. They recommended suppliers for fixtures and other materials who provided high-quality products. Chris and Lauren were on-site regularly and available when needed for decisions. We had sufficient confidence in Chris and Lauren’s management and support that we were comfortable starting the project before we even moved from out of state. The project was completed on time and under budget, and the work was all of excellent quality.

We have completed one large renovation with Chris and Lauren and are in the final stages of designing and building a second whole house with them. They are talented artists and fantastic people. We have found them very easy to work with and have appreciated their excellent taste (but also their openness to some of our own crazy ideas. HIGHLY recommend!

We hired Brown + Davis to help us renovate a tired and dowdy split-level, and they did a fantastic job transforming our home into an open, contemporary, efficient, and beautiful place. Chris and Lauren were a delight to work with at every stage. They worked with us on everything from planning the spaces and budgeting to selecting tile and door handles, and did it all with good cheer, humor, and attention to what we wanted and needed in our project. Working with them felt like a real team collaboration, and we were incredibly grateful for their professionalism and attention to detail. Chris and Lauren also did a great job helping us to prioritize our wish-list by showing us what changes would have the most impact. We appreciated in particular that they talked us out of building an addition by showing us that we had plenty of space once it was configured well. We love coming home to our new house every day and are thrilled with the result. We'd hire them again in a minute.

Brown & Davis are super talented architects In addition to creative talent, Brown & Davis brought an almost Zen-like calm and infectious enthusiasm to the project, making what easily could have been an onerous process one that was fun and exciting. It was exceedingly easy to work with Chris and Lauren. I am of a mind that when one hires someone for their expertise, it’s best to listen to their suggestions. That said, we did have an opinion here and there about a particular detail or two. When we pushed back on an idea, Chris & Lauren were open to the discussion and always came back with a solution pleasing to all. Our space is beautiful … open and airy, with a good vibe. We’re delighted with the results, and would say to anyone considering engaging Brown & Davis: DO IT!

Brown + Davis Design were instrumental in transforming our home. We have a small home and adding on a large space was not in our budget nor did our lot allow for it. We are completely and totally blown away at the impact of the 120 square foot addition that they designed. It has transformed our home. We went from a kitchen that felt like a closet to an open floor plan that feels spacious, serene and comfortable. They were very creative in the use of the space, they worked with us on a few different designs, they gave us options to avoid adding on as well. They were very conscious of our budget, never proposed ideas that we couldn’t afford and helped us understand the design/build process and what to look out for. We had never worked with architects and designers nor had we been through this type of home renovation project. We asked Brown and Davis to explain the process to us and help us understand exactly how it would work. They exceeded our expectations in that regard from introduction to construction finish.
