AWESOME review, Patricia! Thank you very much. When we met, you discussed your desire for a natural woven shade in your kitchen with the goals of cordless operation operation and privacy. Because woven shades generally do not offer much nighttime privacy, we ordered yours with a light filtering liner. The liner provides full privacy but allows daylight to filter through. In your bedroom, we did fabric Roman shades with a blackout liner; a beautiful look which adds texture, depth and color as well as a darker room from the early morning sun.

Your new blackout honeycomb shades are the perfect solution for your west-facing windows, Although your Hudson River views are amazing, the intense afternoon sun creates too much heat and a glare on your tv screen which prevents viewing. You have eliminated both problems with one simple, cordless shade. In your front window, we added a sheer, pleated top to the same shade. This unique honeycomb option, called the Trilight, now provides the darkness you desire but the sheer top softens the look and offers daytime privacy!
