Buestad is a family-owned, non-union, general contracting firm with a long history of creating beautiful homes and happy clients. Based in Alameda, California, Buestad was founded in 1948 by the late John H. Buestad and is still run today by the fourth generation of Buestad builders. Backed by 74 years in business, Buestad has developed highly organized systems for working with our clients. - Buestad utilizes cloud-based Procore software to connect and communicate, ensuring efficiency on each assignment. - Buestad stays focused on project completion through rigorous scheduling facilitated by Microsoft Project Critical Path Management, which minimizes production delays and maximizes efficiencies on the job site. - Buestad’s proprietary cost reporting system allows project budgets and expenditures to be viewed and assessed in real time. Buestad is fluent in smart power, water-saving systems, and green-focused materials and methodology. To stay on top of sustainability advancements, Buestad maintains affiliations with US Green Building Council (USGBC), Build it Green, and is an allied member of AIA/East Bay (American Institute of Architects).
