We made a superior choice to select Amendt Construction for our kitchen remodel. From concept to design and building, the project manager handled all details of the entire project from start to finish and even completed the job two weeks ahead of schedule. Their professionalism and attention to detail was remarkable. I was incredibly impressed with their passion in the design phase and overall vision of what my kitchen could become. The project manager communicated throughout the entire project and addressed questions with the highest level of customer service. I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome and would highly recommend Amendt Construction.

We hired Amendt Construction after the Thomas Fire in Ventura did damage to our home. Monte and Chris Ament provided excellent suggestions for the repairs, upgrades and remodel. We love what they have done to our home!!! People stop constantly to admire the new landscaping and updated modern style of our home. Friends and family cannot say enough regarding the new kitchen and bath remodel and interior upgrade. We cannot wait to have them come back and remodel our master bath.

Amendt Construction took on the task of remodeling both of our dated bathrooms in our home (built 1948) as well as other smaller projects we had been wanting to complete. They were able to take our vision and bring it to life in an amazing way. Amendt Construciton's workers were on time and took to heart cleaning up the job site after the day so our lives could remain normal. They were always willing to discuss ideas and changes as the work was progressing and still find a way to make everything work. The compliments we have received from the work that was completed have been great and now my wife wants to do more remodel work! Time to start saving...

Monte gives construction companies a great reputation by delivering high quality work at a reasonable cost and turn around time. You can always count on Monte to be prompt and not put your job on the back burner. He does fine quality work and is available to fulfill your needs. Whether you are interested in a small or large remodel or simply need a repair done, Monte is your man!

Our architect, Jack Shaffer (Architectonics in Ventura, CA), recommended Monte Amendt, owner of Amendt Construction very highly. Monte did not disappoint. We are very pleased with the addition and Monte was very nice to work with. We appreciated his advice on what fixtures, tile, etc. to select and liked his taste. The work proceeded smoothly and they kept the jobsite clean. The quality of the construction, much of which was done by Monte and his son Matt, is very good. He orchestrated the subcontractors so that the job proceeded smoothly. He was very helpful in locating a knowledgeable contractor to do solar assisted radiant heat in the addition, which we are very happy with. He was conscientious, managed schedule well and stayed within budget. We have subsequently hired him for a couple of small jobs and are very pleased with the results.

I hired Monte Amendt to build a gym and guest house in my backyard. I had seen a project that he completed for a neighbor that involved some incredible engineering work, and knew that he had a special talent to get the job done right. His bid was extremely competitive and we worked together to align some of the costs to meet my budget. The structure was completed on time and for a bit less than originally anticipated as Monte found ways to reduce our costs along the way. His subcontractors were all very professional, we never had any issues passing city inspections, and he was a real pleasure to work with. We love the finished project and I am delighted with my decision to use Amendt Construction for the work. I recommended Monte to a family member for whom he remodeled a kitchen and family room, opening up a dull and dark space and transforming it into a beautiful element of their home. I cannot speak more highly of this firm's professional approach and the ease of working with Monte and his crew.

It is with great pleasure that I share my recent experience working with Amendt Construction. As an experienced contractor, Monte was knowledgeable and demonstrated a solid commitment to ensuring high-quality work. Monte Amendt truly went above and beyond with making sure all of our questions were answered and made us feel comfortable with every step of the renovation process. While his customer service was stellar, I was tremendously impressed by his follow through even after the work was completed. He followed up to meet with me to ensure everything was acceptable for our expectations and consistently mentioned to contact him if we had any questions. He is the type of person who genuinely cares for his customers. I highly recommend Amendt Construction.

Monte built a custom guest house on our property. We hired him because of his expertise and professionalism. Every day we were grateful we hired him for our project. His workmanship was excellent, work was done on time and within the budget. Any unforeseen delays were immediately communicated to us. He listened to our concerns and addressed them and made suggestions when necessary. I would highly recommend him and would hire him again in a minute!!

Monte Amendt has done several jobs for us over a 13 year period from a kitchen remodel to a garage conversion. The subcontractors he works with do amazing work. Monte is honest and straight forward. I would highly recommend him.

Commented: What are the cabinets made of, and is the floor Saltillo tile?Cabinets are custom-made of Eucalyptus, and stained with an English Chestnut. Floor is a 18" ceramic tiles made to look like Saltillo, and very durable. Decos are Talavera tile. Marble counters....
