Kurt Lobpries and his team of amazing subs rebuilt our home after Harvey brought 6ft of water inside. Kurt lives by a code of honesty and excellence and he holds his staff and subs to that same standard. We are so grateful for their kindness and encouragement, their positive attitudes, their skill and attention to detail. Our home is beautiful and we are so grateful to have had such a professional group of people working with us. I highly recommend Builders West for your next build or remodel!

Kurt built an addition to our house and a new garage with quarters about 4 years ago. The subs were not as good as I would have expected; we've had to have a lot of things re-done and still have a leak that we can't fix in our quarters. I heard much worse stories about other contractors so I'm giving BW three stars, but I would not rehire this company.

Kurt Lobpreis the owner of Builder's West is all you would ever want in a contractor; He is meticulous, honest, detail oriented and he has been a pleasure to work with. We hired him to build our home in Houston, which is very modern and he has been able to pull off things that I believe no other contractor in Houston would have been able to do. If we ever build again he will be our contractor again. He may be a little pricier than some but he is well worth it. We have enjoyed working with him and could not have chosen a better person.

Company did an extraordinary job on remodeling a 1920's River Oaks home, bringing kitchen up to date and making other improvements. They did drawings and design work for the job, working with our interior designer, and brought great technical skills and incredible knowledge of past and current construction techniques to bear. The owner Kurt Lobpries is extraordinarily detail- and quality-oriented and his crews were professional and efficient. After we had started, we found that our daughter wanted a wedding at the house in a few months. Builders West pushed, advanced the finish date, and got us back in just in time. We have never had a better experience with a contractor, period.
