We have had Cano Eixo Construction renovate all 3 of our bathrooms. We are very happy with the results! Cano Eixo Construction worked with the Bath Studio (San Ramon) for all of them. The Bath Studio worked with us on the bathroom design- we selected all the materials necessary through them. The materials were delivered a couple of days before construction began. We also ordered stained glass windows for each bathroom from a third party. Of course you run into unanticipated problems as you tear apart 25+ year old bathrooms! We were impressed with how Aleixo (Cano’s owner) managed to make aesthetically appealing solutions on the spot. For example, a ceiling with some rot (due to a past skylight leak) was recreated as a vaulted ceiling. An awkward set of sliding doors was replaced with a very attractive barn door design. He also added in touches we hadn’t thought about, like instant hot water and lighting under the vanities. The installation of our stained glass windows was seamless. Cano Eixo Construction has very skilled workers who paid attention to detail. The tile looks great and the painting looks first class. There were some additional charges, but nothing excessive. We felt the cost was fair. The time to completion ran over by about 30%, but the scope had been changed so we were not surprised. We recommend Cano Eixo Construction, they do quality work!

Aleixo and company did an outstanding job on our master bath remodel. The workmen were great at their tasks and cleaned up after each days job. Our new bathroom is better than I expected. I would definitely use them on any future projects.

When it comes to providing the best possible quality of work and when all is done, Aleixo and his team cannot be beat! We are so extremely pleased and happy with how are bathroom remodel turned out. The transformation from the 1980s esthetic to how it is now is really amazing! There were a few hiccups which had to do with permit approval that resulted in frustrating delays. It can happen and being aware of this allows one to manage expectations. But once it’s back on schedule, the delay becomes an afterthought and all you really want is a beautiful outcome!!

Our experience with Cano-Eixo could not have gone any smoother! We needed to do a hallway bathroom remodel and I really wanted to approach this project as an opportunity to learn in the best possible way. This involved selecting the right contractor from several candidates, creating my own design, learning about permits, choosing and buying all the finished materials. The scheduling of work was pretty efficient. Each individual was assigned according to their field of expertise. I absolutely appreciated their attention to detail and cleaning up after each day of work. Aleixo, the owner came by practically each day to check on the work and to see if there are any issues. I really enjoyed seeing the progress each day and building rapport with each worker. Thank you to Mario, Jasinto, Memo, Jose, Mario #2, Ricardo, Juan, and whoever else I forgot to mention (like the one who textured the walls), and of course, Aleixo and Melissa! It was really a blessing to work with all of them! It also says a lot to know that most or all have been working with Aleixo for many many years. I’m now working on the next design project which is the master bathroom and I hope to produce another successful outcome!

I contracted this company to fix cracks in my ceiling. They confidently said they knew the fix. The experience was horrible and now less than 6 month later all of the cracks are back and worst than before. Beware of this contractor.

The workmen on our project were neat, clean and professional at all times. Their work was of the highest quality and they asked intellegent questions when necessary. Cano Eixo construction built a 700 sq ft addition over my one story garage with a in-law unit. Aleixo and his team were great to work with on this project. The quality of the work was as excellent and we are very satisfied with the finished product. As with any construction project, there are always changes and items that are not expected. Aleixo always dealt with this in a very professional and fair manner. One of the things that stands out is the fact that many ideas and suggestions Aleixo made from the beginning of the project and along the way were excellent and based on years of experience. From where to put additional light switches, to changing a storage space to a loft area, he was very creative and flexible to get us a terrific finished project. And to finish up, all of his team were professional and respectful of our home and property. At the end of the day, we received a great product at a price that was fair and reflected the workmanship.

Cano Eixo Construction did a bathroom remodel for me. They did an outstanding job. They were able to use some very old wood flooring I had left over from another project to match up to the joining floors, saving me money. It was unbelievable how well the floors looked and how nice the bathroom turned out.

I would recommend CanoEixo if you are doing any type of remodel project.We hired them to do a complete remodel including adding square feet to my house, remodel kitchen, adding bath and remodeling master bedroom and bath. The team from Cano Eixo was the primary contractor for us on two extensive bathroom remodeling jobs during the first half of 2018, a master bathroom and a family bathroom. The crew was very professional, skilled, courteous, tidy and punctual. The owner, Aleixo Chumbeiro, came by on a near-daily basis to ensure everything was going as planned, and their office kept us informed as to when workers would be coming to work (something we really appreciated as it kept us from being unnecessarily bound to the house). We had a small kitchen and combined the eating and cooking area to create a bigger more impressive kitchen. Cano Eixo and their team of skilled and courteous professionals worked with us to build our kitchen plan and design. We had the drop ceiling removed to create one cohesive room. They put together our mail ordered cabinets from Cabinets.com beautifully and even had to custom fit the warming drawer to fit in the cabinet. The tile work was exceptional, following our design for the backsplash and patching our existing floor tile seamlessly with the new. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and finished ahead of schedule! We will definitely be using them again for our next remodel project.

Aleixo and his team are great. Always set up the house to protect everything, great job cleaning up every night. We did a total master bath remodel. Aleixo was very creative on the ceiling treatment, and walls, and all the little things he and team figured out. Was a joy to have them in the house transform our bathroom. Cano Eixo Construction did a master bath remodel project for us. They completely removed the old bath tub, shower, cabinets and flooring and reconstructed everything. Aleixo and the team did a great job on my guest bath remodel and service panel replacement. The project included all new bath fixtures, exhaust fan, lighting, vanity, mirrors, ceiling, walls, window, crown molding, tile shower/bath/floor and quartz vanity top. His workmanship is excellent. He is very detail oriented and has great ideas regarding do's and don'ts. He also replaced my electrical panel and pulled new circuits to the bath room. Everything is now to code!
