Cardello Lighting & Electric Supply

After 16 years of buying electrical supplies from Cardello's I am sad to say I will no longer count on them for my electrical needs. I liked by from a small business because I felt it helped the local economy. But, after being lied 2 twice by the billing manager, and her I lack of capability I contacted the owner. He assured me he would contact me in the afternoon, but never did. It seems that they are not interested in small business accounts or business relationships. After 34 years as manager of the local store they fired the manager for no reason and blame him for anything that they do wrong. There is no accountability from the owner down. Too bad.

Catylin at Cordello Lighting was fantastic ! She helped us tremendously in selecting the light fixtures for our new house. She was very knowledgeable and immediately understood our theme. She made some great suggestions to compliment the fixtures we had chosen. She made the whole process easy. She coordinated everything with our electrition. If a piece was missing etc. she immediately took care of it. I highly recommend her !

I was extremely happy with the service I received. Great selection of lighting and fans and Caitlyn was very helpful and offered great ideas and choices for our home. She was very thorough and sent information very quickly with pricing and provided alternate choices as well. She did an excellent job.

The sales associate I dealt with was very helpful. She made suggestions that went along with my style and she helped to expedite the purchase and shipping of the items when I was in a strict timeframe.

I had an excellent experience with Cardello in general and with Caytlin specifically. She proved extremely responsive to some inquiries I had following my order and was able to help me process a coupon that I neglected to include in my initial order submission. I really appreciated her taking the time to ensure I received that discount. She also kept me updated on the order status so I knew exactly where it was in the process, something that I find lacking in many cases of online orders.

Recently, we helped my mother-n-law build a condo. The builder had us use Cardello. At first everything was fine until they were almost ready to install lights and realized they had never been ordered (even though my husband had taken off work twice to take his mother and make selections). There was an unfortunate circumstance with the sales associate, however you would think a professional company would have checks in place to make sure that orders were being handled, even if an associate went on a sudden leave. Once it was figured out, they could not find our order and several items were missed and not ordered. Finally, after delaying the closing and us scrambling to purchase missing lights at Lowe's the lights were installed. Then the main focal light, purchased through Cardello, was installed incorrectly. We were then told they needed parts that were not ordered. After all of this and a damaged ceiling, they wanted us to pay another $130 for the missing parts. When I spoke to the new woman in charge and shared our mishaps and concerns she did apologize. However, she went on to tell us we owed full price for these missing parts to correct the light that had been hung incorrectly. Needless to say, I suggested they make it right and so she agreed to give us the parts at their cost, costing us approximately $80 instead of the $130. I assumed after making full price on all the other lights, as well as for our lost time, damaged ceiling and headache they could have thrown these in, however she was not willing. Needless to say my husband and I are now building and chose not to go to them. I think the $80 lost them our $20,000+ lighting allowance.....

We had a fantastic experience choosing the lighting for our new construction home. We worked with Caytlin Thor and she was so helpful and enjoyable to work with. We had to choose a substantial number of fixtures and we anticipated it being an exhausting task. We spent hours with Caytlin and she provided us with the help we needed to narrow down all of the many beautiful lights we were choosing from.
