Last year I hired Carlos Matta International, for the second time, to re design a project that he did back in 2007. It was a full remodeling project that included a new kitchen, bathrooms, window treatments, floors, lighting and furniture. What I love about working with him is that he is able to deliver a decor that reflects my personal style and personality. His team of contractors also deserve recognition since they completed the project 2 weeks before the estimated due date and with no change order invoices. Highly recommended!

Carlos is incredible and marries the talent of good taste with robust architectural understanding. We did a gut renovation, and he completely enhanced the value of the property through his understanding of space. We exposed the kitchen more than it was, raised the ceiling 6 inches, and completely re-did the entire schematics of the master bedroom. He has very good vendor relationships and gets competitive rates for high quality products and services. He is very responsible and gets to the point. First class all the way with Carlos.

I hired Carlos to help me figure out how to improve the space efficiency in my 1300 sq. ft condo. During the initial consultation, he took me through a number of ideas and concepts that could potentially work and we agreed on a general direction. He came back with a well thought out rendition of the final product along with all associated costs and a project timeline. We agreed on the details and he took over the project. From that moment on, working with Carlos and his team was a true pleasure. His entire team was responsive, proactive, professional and an overall joy to work with. I think the most impressive part of the entire experience was watching Carlos manage the project to completion on time, on budget and in a way where I never felt like my condo was under construction. The actual work delivered far exceeded any expectations I could have had. When I sold my condo, the buyers mentioned that the improvements Carlos had designed were the main reason why they were willing to come in over asking! I would recommend Carlos without hesitation and will absolutely hire his firm again.

You're not going to find an interior designer with better creativity and problem solving skills than Carlos. Thank you Carlos for an outstanding work. He gave us great suggestions and the whole process from start to finish was EXCELLENT! Very easy to work with and never had us waiting. He is very accommodating. If you are looking to start a new project: This gentleman: -answers your calls promptly -researches what you like -has a kind personality (and yes, this IS super important!) In the several project that we had been worked, he transformed my vintage condo unit into the high-end luxurious vacation that I was looking for. Five stars for him. I would highly recommend Carlos to anyone looking to hire a designer who really listens to her clients and delivers in every way.
