About Us

Walton County's BEST of HOUZZ for Service and Design 2016, 2017 and 2018! 30A Interiors was announced as one of top 25 Interior Designers in the state of Florida and specializes in Coastal Casual Elegance Decor. Carolyn's Interior Design, multiple-award winning background stems from a long time love of all things design. With 30+ years of experience and my passion for style has followed me and grown in every aspect of my life. Connecting to the design field in one way or another while following my husband all over the world with his military career has been a challenge but it’s probably what developed my success. As a matter of fact while living in Washington DC I was directly in charge of designing the furnishings for a very important new department of the government. I was both honored and privileged to accept the opportunity to take care of them. It was a massive undertaking and needless to say the large projects do not scare me. In fact, I LOVE them! Convinced that this is what I am meant to do I unknowingly hunt out what I love and the thrill of a hunt is more than intriguing to me. Some would say I’m obsessed! (Please don’t ask my husband….shh…) At the end of the day I visualize beautiful things coming together to create the end result. After 30 plus years in the fashion and design industry my expertise in Design Project Management leads me to Residential or Commercial projects. Finish selections such as paint, tile, lighting, plumbing and flooring all the way to the delivery of the furnishings, accessorizing and installation of the window treatments makes me feel accomplished. An eye for detail as well as visualizing the big picture are both essential. My customers love having the comfort level of my knowledge and experience.

Carolyn and her staff were very easy to work with. She is very patient and willing to keep looking until your find what you are looking for. We did a complete 3 bedroom/3 bath condo renovation. It turned out beautiful.

Working with the 30 A Team has been the most incredible experience. I can truly say I have never worked with a team that is more professional, creative or diligent. I hired Carolyn to update my rental property in Alys Beach. My home was in dire need of a transformation as it had fallen in rentals and could not compete with the new construction. Carolyn and her team began work and the transformation began. This was not an easy job, a wall had to be removed and we ran into some other issues that were unforeseen which did not fall under the confines of the remodel. It was not feasible for me to make the trip to Florida, Carolyn and her team graciously handled these stumbling blocks for me. The finished product has rapidly become one of the most popular 5 bedroom rentals in Alys Beach. I highly recommend 30 A interiors. You will. It be disappointed!

We built a beach house in Inlet beach and live in Nashville, TN. We had Carolyn decorate it for us. We gave her a budget and ideas of what we liked and she did an amazing job in a timely manner and within budget. Our guests that stay at our house always comment on how they love our decorations. I met initially to go over her recommendations for fabrics and furniture finishes (I need to see colors and textures myself - but I loved everything she suggested!), and she took it from there. When we arrived at the condo for our first stay, everything was done - furniture, rugs, bedding, lighting, window treatments, new cabinetry/countertops in the laundry room - it was a dream condo! "30A Interiors" helped us completely remodel our Rosemary Beach house (including furniture selection, window treatments, paint colors, rugs, and wall art placement throughout plus complete redesign of the 3rd floor). Trying to tackle such a huge project from Texas would have been a real challenge, but thankfully I was introduced to Carolyn at just the right time. It has been a pleasure to work with and get to know her. She has great ideas and worked with our vision to bring us options that fit the house and our budget. We needed her to stay on top of contractors since we couldn't be there to do it, and she was direct and effective when needed. We had a very tight timeline, and the project was delivered just before we needed. In addition to Carolyn's great design and decorating expertise, she is truly a delightful person. We highly recommend hiring her.
