Centerbeam completely renovated our entire 1920s home, by turning a 2/1 into a beautiful bungalow spacious enough to raise a family in. They transformed this home, which had never been renovated, into a modern classic house, while being careful to preserve its historical integrity. This resulted in home that has an open floorplan, updated kitchen and bathroom, etc., but also has the original baseboards, guest bathroom tub (refinished beautifully), and beautiful hardwood flooring, among other things. The house turned out to be a beautiful blend of new and historic elements, and, while we purchased the home only after the renovations were complete, we wouldn't change a thing. Christina and Jeff know what works, and do not leave loose ends for a homeowner to clean up. If you want a contractor with integrity that is thorough, honest, and communicative, Centerbeam is the perfect company for you to use.

Christina and the entire CenterBeam crew are dedicated professionals who are prompt, reliable, and take obvious pride in their work. Having seen several of the company's award-winning restorations in the Riverside Avondale Historic District, we already knew CenterBeam did great work, and were pleased to hire them to redo our garage and workroom/home gym after Hurricane Irma did her worst. What we didn't anticipate (and were happily surprised by) was how responsive the team is: Christina always called to confirm appointments, and the various crew members (Jeff, Brad and Steve) were always on time, or let us know if--and why--they were running behind. Work was performed promptly, and the worksite was kept clean. Anything that was missed was quickly corrected. We were very pleased with CenterBeam and can recommend the company without hesitation.

We hired Centerbeam to add on a study and a laundry room to a 1920s bungalow. They also enhanced our access to the attic, added a patio, and storage of our kayaks under the house. Christina was on the spot with recommendations and did all the navigation with the local historical regulations. Jeff came by every day to check on progress. They both became members of our family. Not all was peaches n cream. It was an upset to our house and our daily routine. However, the final product was so much better than we could have imagined, and mostly due to Centerbeam!

My wife and I purchased a 1924, ~1400 sq ft home that was entirely renovated by Centerbeam. They gutted the house down the studs, placing MUCH appreciated insulation in the outer walls as well as the crawlspace and attic. They did an amazing job blending the charm and history of such an old house with modern updates and conveniences. They have been great to work with and we highly recommend them-

I worked with Centerbeam Construction for the first time a couple months back and was extremely pleased with the entire process. From the first phone call with Christina, to the follow-up after the project was completed, it was a non-stressful, pleasant experience. It's nice to deal with a company that keeps in touch, schedules your project realistically, and completes the project on time. Steve was the person who worked on the house and he was very thorough and did beautiful work. He fully explained all my options for materials so that were able to make the best choice for the project. They are my first call for all future projects because I feel like I know what to expect and it will be without all the drama of other companies that don't show up, don't call and do less-than-adequate work.

I have had the pleasure of witnessing several full renovations Centerbeam Construction has facilitated in the historic districts of Jacksonville, Florida. The owners clearly have integrity, are fair and realistic with project time frames, understand and respect the guidelines enforced by historic district preservation and displayed honesty and transparency with their clients. I have also seen them truly listen to their clients and their staff. Their team seems to have a healthy culture to work in. And, the owners of Centerbeam have a fabulous eye for design. Collaborating with Centerbeam seems to be a joy, in as much as renos can be, and I would personally select them for this scope of work above the competition.

I am impressed by this company. We hired them for a project to remove and replace interiors door frames. This project appeared to be quite challenging and we honestly expected it to take more than one day. Not only did it take less than one full business day, by one person, but it was done correctly. They look brand new. I can not express my gratitude to this company enough. We looked at so many companies. This one responded immediately. They were professional and went above and beyond to get it completed in our very limited timeline. I have had such a hard time finding experienced professionals in Jacksonville. This was a breath of fresh air. From the booking process, the response and the quality of work, I am impressed. They even showed up a few minutes early! This is what people expect from companies but it is so hard to come by. Quality service is not standard anymore. Centerbeam Construction delivered it though. I would recommend them to anyone. If we weren't moving out of state, I would hire them again.

I am very satisfied with the quality of work that was done on my historic house. The specialty wood that was made for the job matched with the old wood perfectly. The craftsman who cut and installed the materials did a great job. The company owner kept me abreast of what was happening every step of the way. This is my second construction job with Centerbeam Construction.

After interviewing 5 different companies to work on our Townhomes community, I chose Centerbeam Construction. Christina came out to the site and gave me quotes for the job. It was quite a task as I had to coordinate roofers, carpenters, and painters. Centerbeam was great about working with my schedule. After the first building they did on replacing the rotten Cedar siding, I knew I had found and chosen a very special company to work with. Just AWESOME! Thanks Centerbeam!

Centerbeam Construction has just completed a WDO job for me that was originally scheduled with another contractor who had to pull off the job due a family emergency. From bottom to top this is one of the most professional companies I have ever done business. The quality of work really blew me away. Challenge areas were met beautifully. Leadership outstanding. Bottom line they do what they say they will do and more. They exceeded my expectations and completed a difficult project with time to spare. I highly recommend this Company for promptness, quality of work, price, and true to their word. Thank You Centerbeam Construction

We have an interesting story. My wife and I set out to build a bathroom and lanai one year ago...August 1, 2015. We dealt with an incompetent contractor for over 8 months before we fired him. Christina and Jeff were one of 3 contractors we interviewed. We chose them, and are so completely pleased with that decision. They ardently took over the job, righted all of the previous blunders, and completed the job in a little over 2 months. And this was a very large job. And it was done to perfection! And they are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Their subcontractors were all wonderful people as well. All were true artists at their trades. We will never use another contractor other than Centerbeam if we ever undertake another project like this. They made it all easy!
