1 Star Review – Care Free Pools: Sloppy, Disorganized, and Disrespectful of Your Time If I could give zero stars, I would. Care Free may be able to install a decent pool, but their service after that point is an absolute disaster. From communication breakdowns to delays, unfulfilled promises, and careless work, every step has been a frustrating ordeal. Our fence — which they installed — is still being held together with bright red tape. The gate latch failed almost immediately. We had a ladder ready to go, but they couldn't be bothered to install it until the very end of the season. Too busy to complete what we had already paid for. We discussed installing the pool cover repeatedly, only to have it done after all the leaves had fallen — making the entire effort pointless. They even left floaties underneath the cover. Then this spring, after a personal visit to their shop to raise concerns about the condition of the pool, their crew came out and poured chemicals directly into a pool full of debris. Useless and infuriating. Care Free seems focused on chasing new business while neglecting the very customers who trusted and paid them. They are disorganized, indifferent, and consistently unresponsive unless backed into a corner. We will never use Care Free again. None of our businesses or affiliated partners will either. They’ve been removed from our recommendation list permanently and are now referenced internally as a case study in poor service delivery.
