Tony, Mark, and the Chillcoots team built a beautiful home for us in Winter Park, CO. Their team was professional, transparent, and provided excellent communication throughout our homebuilding process. We have a few friends who are contractors in Denver and upon seeing our home, have consistently remarked at the high quality and excellent finishes throughout. Our build occurred during a time when prices were starting to skyrocket due to tariffs and demand shifts. The Chillcoots team ensured that we were not blindsided by these pricing shifts during our building process and also have followed through on the inevitable small issues and hiccups that always occur after a move-in. Most important, when problems arose during the build, Chillcoots was great about taking ownership, communicating, and moving forward in a productive way, even when the issue wasn't Chillcoots' fault (which happened a few times due to a wayward design pro who we will sadly not use again). Chillcoots has tremendous experience in building beautiful, traditional mountain homes, however the team didn't hesitate to work with us to build a contemporary, more streamlined mountain home. Tony was great to collaborate with and to bounce ideas off of, and was also honest when he thought some of my ideas would not work well, which I appreciated. Our build was truly a fun, creative process. I would not hesitate to work with Chilcoots again in the future.

We have had the pleasure of working with Chillcoots as our General Contractor led by Mark Bjerken during the construction of three personal custom home builds in Winter Park, CO. I could go on and on about how great Mark and Chillcoots are, but the best thing I can say is that if I had it to do all over again, I would definitely go with Chillcoots and there isn't anything I would change about the house. This was our first home build and Mark and his team were with us every step of the way. They worked with the architect during the design phase and contributed some invaluable input as we decided on layout. They helped with everything from fixtures to exterior colors. The house is about 4,000 sq ft they started in May and had us moved in the 1st of February. We have been in the home for over a year now and we only had one minor issue which Chillcoots handled immediately.

I have no complaints with Chillcoots and maintain a companionship with a number of their workers. Me and my wife contracted with Chillcoots on recommendation of a Realtor and never had a reason to doubt them. They built our home, and it was a real joy to us both. We never disagreed with them and the quality and attention to detail that they brought to the project was unbelievable. I have built a bunch of commercial projects in Kansas City where I felt that I had to be there or something would go wrong. I never felt that way with Chillcoots. Recently, I had to use a general contractor to repair a major problem and I called Chillcoots.

Our project was a full house remodel that entailed a majority of the old house being taken down to the foundation. Mark was with us at the planning stage and made several suggestions to save costs and get us the design we envisioned. Our site manager Scott was on top of every detail and communicated frequently and effectively which was so important since we live out of state. As a remodel there were several instances when changes to original plans were needed and these challenges were met with knowledgeable input from both Mark and Scott. Their craftsmanship has given us a beautiful mountain home. We cannot overstate the confidence we have in this company. The attention to detail and commitment to quality is amazing.

The construction quality was excellent, they were easy to work with, and they addressed issues that arose even after the warranty period. The project was completed under budget, in spite of changes I requested. They made several suggestions during construction to improve the house.

Chillcoots Construction has done a fantastic job in every respect. Mark and his crew have done meticulus work on everything from framing to trim. We have received thoughtful advice on materials and design options complete with accurate cost analysis. Tony, our project manager communicates readily, and he has kept the project moving at an admirable pace. In fact, we are ahead of schedule! We could not be more pleased, and we recommend this company highly.

The process was very smooth and any challenges were handled upfront and honestly. Communication was outstanding. Given their level of experience, they were able to work with the architect to make changes that had a huge impact on our project. Chillcoots doesn't undercut the project to get the work. Our budget was very clear cut and straightforward. We wouldn't change anything in terms of design or process. They are the best.
