I had the opportunity to bring Chris in on a project of mine here in La Jolla, CA which was completed a few months ago. I've known Chris for several years, but never had the opportunity to work with her until recently. Working with Chris and her team was so rewarding and so professionally refreshing. I felt like a match maker putting her together with our client....always hoping for the best, but never sure I could trust my gut. ...answer is, trust your gut. Chris met every challenge with freshness and and focus (a quick study is she!) and a down to earth-ness that frankly made every encounter with her genuine and considerate. She has a keen eye for essentials and little time for superfluous stuff. Chris is a truly REAL deal!

Chris is a quality designer. Beautiful textural fine finishes and subtle colors and warmth. She created a beautiful comfortable home that everyone loved, she was fun to be with and fast. Very professional.

We hired Chris Barrett to design a 20000 s.f. vacation home in Cabo San Lucas. Chris and her team selected all background finishes, designed all the millwork built ins, hand selected all the furnishings and fabrics and worked with the architect and contractor. She outright exceeded our expectations and furthermore was such a pleasure to work with. She will be behind any and all future projects we have!
