CDH Design + Build

We own a home that was approaching 20 years old and the kitchen was very dated. We began a search for a professional contractor who could do this. We went off referrals to get our traditional 3 bids. First company did a friends home and we liked the work. Took forever to get us a bid and was very high. The other company was much lower in price but wanted to do some crazy design that made no sense to us. My wife met with CDH Design & Build. She called me after the first meeting and told me "this is the contractor we need to use." Christel brings several key elements to her product- interior design suggestions (surfaces, paint, fabrics, fixtures, tile etc) and quality. She fits a segment of contractors that is often more akin to high end builds involving architects and interior designers, but without the cost. She uses her years of experience to craft a great remodel taking into account all the details. She further vetts her sub-contractors very well ensuring they produce the highest quality work and meet both her and the clients standards. Our remodel was a total gut. We tore the kitchen out to the studs. We gained considerably more cabinet space by working with her and her cabinet fabricator. We used every inch we could to our advantage. We are beyond pleased with the resulting kitchen and highly recommend CDH to anyone wanting a kitchen or bath remodel- large or small.

We chose CDH Design + Build over other contractors for Christel’s individualized design support, and it was absolutely the right decision! We wanted to take a tub out of our bathroom in order to add counter and storage space. What seemed like a simple idea turned out to require more decisions than we would have ever thought possible, and Christel was with us every step of the way. After we had our basic design in place, Christel took us to a variety of tile, lighting and fixture stores, brought samples to us or emailed us suggestions for on-line shopping. Without exception, Christel brought in professional craftsmen for each stage of the remodel. The project supervisor, Anthony, was always either on sight when work was being done or stayed in close contact with us and the contractors. At the end of each day, Anthony would come by to check progress and make sure that our house was put back in order so that we didn’t feel like we were living in a construction zone. After successfully completing the bathroom, we were so pleased with the results that we remodeled our kitchen, too. We highly recommend CDH Design + Build!

Christel and her team were phenomenal for our kitchen remodel. They completed our project within the timeframe given and were professional and honest each step of the way. My light and tastefully done kitchen is such a joy to be in - all thanks to Christel at CDH Design and Build, and her eye for a classy overhaul. We were able to coordinate the removal of a load bearing wall (referred to by Jason at Load Bearing Wall Pro) to enlarge and improve our space for the entire family! (we've a LOT of kids! so the need for sight lines and a quality new look means we did this right and used CDH!). We can't wait to redo our master bathroom next! CDH can do floors to ceiling and then some! We are so pleased! Such an enjoyable experience with CDH Design and Build from start to finish - detail, selections, supervision of the job, professional workers throughout the process were a pleasure to work with!
