Christina and her team did an excellent job on staging the condos at 156 Pearl Street in Newton. She was prompt, courteous, efficient and very pleasant. She accommodated a last minute request to change the de-staging appointment. Her furniture and design accessories were of the highest quality which was very important since the condos are new construction. Overall excellent job and I will certainly work with this design team again.

Christina did a great job helping us sell our house. The place looked great, and sold quickly thanks to her efforts. Another great thing is she made it very easy. She managed the whole process, the painters, electricians, movers and the staging furntiture. Will definitely use her again!

She also has fantastic suggestions and works with your given taste/budget. I have too many options and unclear ideas for my space - and she helped me make a decision and actually pull the trigger to make purchases. Christina is not only an amazing designer with an eye for visualizing the potential of each space but a wonderful person as well. Christina helped us create a beautiful environment out of a dreary 1950's space. We were able to reconfigure the space and color schemes with amazing personal touches that brought the rooms to life. Working with Christina Katos at No. 29 design blog was such a great experience for us. Christina is professional, creative, and very easy to work with. She used Chic Shelf Paper to add interest to shelves and described the project for consumers in easy-to-understand terms, which was invaluable to us. We love her creativity and attention to detail. Christina's design's make you say "hey, that's just what I was looking for!" quickly followed by "hey, I could do that!" Her aesthetic is traditional American style with a creative twist. Grounded by her graphic artist training, Christina adds an accessible and practical eye to her design, offers easy to follow steps, and tops it with a sprinkle of whimsy. Knowing she is mom of young children....and a dog owner....makes me eager to see what she comes up with next because I know it will work for me! The balance she offers is what is most appealing. Beautiful but usable, high end looks but affordable, soothing color schemes but not monochromatic; fresh ideas but not trends that will become dated; kid-friendly but not childish. Christina sees beauty all around her and helps us translate that in a way that makes our houses into homes.

Christina has the eye to see what the potential can be with moving walls, removing bad wallpaper and updating tired paint colors. Shas great ideas and has helped me create efficient and beautiful storage in our home! First and foremost, she listens to our goals and keeps in mind our budget and family needs while discussing and presenting her solutions. Just one example, is our bathroom, glitzed out from the 80's with metallic wallpaper and gold fixtures. Christina has walked us through how we could update and modernize this eyesore on a nominal budget. Her suggestion to paint a black lacquered vanity that is built into a quartz countertop saved us a huge expense, along with removing golden shower doors and hardware with a simple shower curtain and new hardware. She also showed us how we could maximizing storage potential with new cabinets! I look forward to working more with Christina in the future!

Christina has years of design experience and continues to put her clients' needs and design aesthetic first. Her positive attitude makes even the most difficult and tedious project a great experience. She has worked on several projects with me in the past. Christina was always encouraging and stayed within our budget. In fact, we would always get more done on our dime, as she is very price conscious, extremely resourceful and creative with her use of materials. Next year, our plans to build our dream home will begin and Christina will be on our speed dial. I know that I will use her to help plan out our family room, kitchen, mud room/laundry room and basement. She is really wonderful to work with.
