A Better Builder

My spouse and I have built 3 different custom homes in 3 different states and by far this Bullhead City build has been our best experience. We very seldom see the level of teamwork, commitment and competency in the General Contractor team and the attention to the selection of the proper subcontractors. First impressions typically come true for us in both business and life experiences. Upon our first meeting with Chuck's team we felt comfortable discussing the project with Better Builder since they anticipated our questions and answered all of them without hesitation in line with our needs and expectations. Many preliminary options and product selections were discussed with Chuck as we refined our design prior to our submission for a formal bid. I mention this because it reflects a higher level of cooperation and commitment to our project than we were accustomed to on other builds. This open dialogue allowed us to improve the end result throughout the build, while keeping it on schedule and close to the original budget. Everyone brought on to the project team was courteous and helpful as we made adjustments as needed. Dealing with our job superintendent Mike was also a great experience. Mike was always willing to share his knowledge and experience to make improvement suggestions at critical points of the project. His involvement was critical to the management of this project. Beyond the folks on the jobsite, the responsive support of Diane and Candice in the office helped every step of the way. Keeping track of procuring our specified products and managing our deliveries was greatly appreciated. We couldn't be happier with the process and the end product results of our new custom home. Better Builder was definitely the right choice for making our project stress free. Our sincere thanks to the entire team!

I recently had an RV garage built by “A Better Builder”. I must say that I am quite pleased with the whole experience with them. Not only did they build an awesome garage they are awesome people to deal with. From the bidding process to the completion it was a very pleasant experience. They have very professional sub contractors who not only do a good job as promised, they do their job within a timely manner with concern and understanding for the home owner. Their office staff is beyond belief. They maintain contact and insure that that the ordered building materials are exactly what the customers wants. They were very attentive and were instrumental in making sure that the “man cave” I dreamed of became a reality. The job foreman “Mike” was amazing!! He had complete control of the Subs and made sure all steps were completed not only in a timely manner but were perfect!! Chuck the owner was unbelievable in terms of working with me to not only work out a very fair bid/cost but also worked with me in terms of some of my special requests. I would highly recommend A Better Builder to anyone wanting to build a a home, garage, add on, or re-model!!

Chuck is a fantastic homebuilder. he as built several homes for me. Chuck is meticulous from start to finish. I would highly recommend A Better Builder as his name says it all. Chuck is just that A Better Builder.

After interviewing several local house builders, we decided to go with A Better Builder. Chuck and his assistant, Candice were easy to work with, were open to our ever changing details. Chuck also made some very nice changes during the construction that added to home interior design. Even with so many home being built in the area, they stayed very close to being on schedule. Candice worked with my wife on the many interior products and was a great representative for dealing with the Laughlin Ranch Board.

Chuck Ashby built us a beautiful custom design for-ever home. From the dirt lot purchase thru the home completion he and his Team were amazing to work with. Candice Reed was a great asset to the entire process making the material and color selection process very easy. In my honest opinion A Better Builder builds the best homes in the Bullhead City, AZ area.

A Better Builder construction company built our home in 2019. Chuck and Candice were terrific to work with, great communication throughout the entire process and the result was a beautiful, well built house. Would highly recommend them if your considering a new build or major remodel.
