I have worked with Carter Warr for over 25 years on projects in and around Portola Valley, Ca. I have been impressed with Carter's ability to assimilate his client's desires in creating exciting, impressive homes. He also uses innovative and insightful design features on sometimes difficult sites to incorporate a marriage of the land and the new home. Carter keeps abreast of current code changes and local jurisdiction rules when in the design process. This attribute assists his clients in keeping designs acceptable to the review agencies. Carter also utilizes state of the art products and home features for green building guidelines and energy savings for his clients. By insightful design, Carter's projects are able to be constructed with minimal disturbance to the land, low construction costs and short time spans from start to completion.

Carter and his team are wonderful. They are super knowledgeable of the area and know what can and cannot be built here. They are great listeners. They have good relationships with builders and are well respected. I will for sure use CJW again for another project.

Carter, is great! He can build what you want , not what he wants. His firm is a coordinated , friendly group. They can take you from really defining your dream, putting it on paper, or cad, working with neighbors, the town , ASCC, builders, sub-subcontractors. Manage the project, from begging to end. He really cares about you, both your financial needs and emotionally ones to. A small note to his honesty, a problem occurred just as we were aproching a bank deadline. He felt responsible for it, had it taken care of on his dime !, we almost didn't even know about it.
